I think Higgins is a great young WR that is stuck behind an elite young WR. He will produce well and put up numbers but maybe not reach his WR1 potential unless he is shipped to a different team. I just moved Higgins for A Cooper, Jameson Williams and a possibly top 4 2023 1st. It was a pretty crazy return to be offered and I just couldn’t pass it up. If you get an offer like that then you have to take it. I wouldn’t force a move as he will still be a great asset but be open to offers and see what comes along.

I'm a huge Higgins fan, but with that return, I'd probably have to take the deal and hope for the best. Can't fault you at all for taking that deal and moving on. Nice work!

Looks like he won't negotiate with CIN anymore for this year. Chances he gets tagged next year?

High in the sense that it might help them facilitate a trade, potentially - but it sounds like they don't intend to give him the long term contract he's seeking.

Which is fair enough, because they just gave Burrow the #1 overall contract by being last to the party to sign their eligible guy. It's 45 million dollars higher in total figure than the Kyler contract people were complaining about last year, with 60 million more guaranteed to boot. (230m/159gtd vs. 275m/219gtd) In short: it's a whopper, and they are officially married to Joe Burrow now. (hey, it could be worse)

For a team that has generally operated on the lower end of historical NFL spending, this is a big change. Mike Brown capitulating on the naming rights to "Paul Brown Stadium" is legitimately relevant here; they had to do it in order to sign Burrow with that much money guaranteed. (as it is held in escrow when you do so)

Chase will demand a contract that is at the very least 1a/1b with Jefferson next offseason - we'll see which of them blinks first - and it's very likely that their appetite for paying a 3rd max receiver just isn't there. Higgins is the odd man out, unfortunately.

Monsoon game. Burrow seems to always start slow. Browns defense is pretty solid. He's the #2 behind Chase, who also struggled to find stats this week. Stuff like that.

Okay cool, thanks, I didn't see the game. Didn't realize the weather and all. Much appreciation.

He also had 8 targets. One less than Chase. Weird game. I’m not concerned about Higgins.

Yeah, I was confused at how he had eight targets and no catches. Thanks. I have one new share of TH.
