Is it a reverse jinx if you believe it?

Nah I'm with you. If my Ravens had fallen into a playoff spot, I'd predict them to lose as well as thats what I believe would happen. Doesn't mean it's a reverse jinx or that I don't want them to win.

I think your Pats have a shot but I also expect BUF to win this one

If the desire to be right is greater than the desire for them to win, I suppose.

Really interested to see how the Cowboys do. They were really good against the NFC least, and not so good outside of it.

Saw a blurb that they've beaten bad teams, but got beaten by good teams. Accurate?

6-0 vs NFC East
Other 6 wins were against Chargers, Panthers, Patriots (in OT), Vikings, Falcons and Saints.
5 losses came against Bucs, Broncos, Chiefs, Raiders and Cardinals.

As a lifelong Bengals fan, being optimistic for a playoff game is a foreign feeling.

Well this is a totally unwinnable situation, because this would never happen. If i were a betting man id 100 percent be putting money down on the Bill to win. I promise you that.

In DFS I would always hedge players vs the Bucs, because if I was to get blown up and lose, I wanted to get paid for my pain and suffering :P ...

Great start to Wild Card Weekend. That Bengals Raiders game was a nail biter. Not a Cincy fan, but I’m happy for their fan base and the city getting their first playoff win over over 30 years.

This has been Cowboys football during the entire Dak Reign . His career record in the NFC LEast is 25-6 and he is 28-26 against everyone else.

Vikings win for Cowboys was a Cooper Rush win so that doesn’t go in Dak win column for those keeping score of such things

I really wish officiating issues could get cleaned up in a league that makes so much money. Full time refs who work year round at the job seems like the way to go, instead of pinching pennies. Good for the Bengals, I have long cheered for Cincy once the Raiders are out, as I had a great time as an away fan their, total class that city as far as football fans. However I really hate seeing clear mistakes and then refs doubling down on them. I'm glad my team put up a fight until the end, but in the end RZ offense (specifically WR's that can't get open or make a play) was their achilles heel. Haven't had a guy on the outside that could do anything in the RZ since Crabtree 5 years ago. How valuable a guy like Mike Williams (FA this year) would have been to this team, and at the end today.

I was iffy on Carr getting an extension, but after the way he played with a bottom tier OL this year, I want him back after his deal is up. He's had a terrible roster for years. 4800 yards with no outside WR and Waller out for half the year, and more importantly he plays well in the 4th and OT. Not pinning this one on him at all. He got them within a whisker, but on the final few plays, just nobody open at all, and it's been a problem for the Raiders in the RZ all year. Waller isn't a great RZ Tight End, as goood as he is. He's great between the 20's because his speed gives him so many options. Renfrow is good in the slot, but they tend to double him in the RZ now. Edwards and Zay Jones ain't it. Not even close.

Wasn't Amari Cooper pretty good for you guys for a hot minute there?

On this we agree.

Feels like the league has reloaded with talent again, and once again the Raidahz are on the outside looking in without a true top 10 (or even 20 in places) player at any particular position. The one guy you can hang your hat on is a borderline-30 TE reclamation project you found in the bargain bin. Congrats...?

They seem further away than their first playoff appearance in 8 years might have otherwise suggested, at least to me.

Gotta think we'll be reading about Pit Boss Rich Bisaccia's firing pretty imminently, too. That team did not look well prepared yesterday.
