I never understood athletes' aversion to getting vaccinated, you'd think the risks of long COVID on their respiratory system would outweigh the risks (?) of getting the vaccine.

The alternative logic is they're in such superior shape they can fend off any little virus. And the unknown long term effects of a vaccine worries people....even more than the already known long term effects that actually getting Covid are. It's people preferences. I won't open that can of worms any further.

Never underestimate stupidity.

Sean Payton sees something in Taysom Hill that literally nobody else sees.

The guy is doing more than Simien can (pre finger injury) with no weapons vs the speed of this D IMO. He's out there with a splint on his throwing hand. Kind of similar skill set to Hurts, TBH.

Why not see what you have in Ian Book at this point. You know what Taysom is.

Yeah, he's a older Jalen Hurts. But they are still in the playoff hunt, that's why. Payton sees Book a lot more than we do. He probably knows to some degree what he has. Throwing him out there with no Kamara and no WR's, and no LT, that probably won't do much for him.

Dak is good, but he's nowhere near worth that contract. Jerrah really messed up waiting to extend him a few years ago at a much lower rate. That would have been more what he's worth.

Feel like I’m watching Tebow again. Is Sean Peyton really staking the next few years on Taysom and his new contract? He is zero threat to push the ball downfield and this rugby-style offense isn’t going to win more than a handful of games against bad teams.

He hasn’t looked quite the same post injury

I think he's more in the Cousins, Stafford, Carr type range than the top tier. He's good, but not elite. Really nothing to suggest he is.

This isn't saying much.

Hill makes Hurts look like Peyton Manning as a passer. He has tunnel vision and is wildly inaccurate. This is basically the Tebow offense from Denver.

He probably will use him in packages and goal line. He's only playing him because it's either he or Simien. Saints team has been destroyed by injuries.

Again, he's throwing with a bad hand. He's still not good, but it's tough to judge him based on a game with no weapons and a throwing hand injury. I'm not supporting Hill, just pointing out they have nothing left at QB, or the skill positions for that matter.

It's very easy to judge him, because he's always been this inaccurate. He can sometimes hit an open WR, but he's not an NFL level passer.
