Taylor
Jeudy
Dobbins
Swift
Lamb
Ruggs
Akers
Jefferson
Reagor
Hamler
Higgins
Dillon

It's really difficult to rank those top 5. Having Swift at 4 feels wrong, but his 5'8" frame just throws a red flag for me. Only Phillip Lindsay has that kind of frame (to my knowledge) and even he's not viewed as a workhorse back.

I currently own 1.2 selection and will probably still take Swift/Taylor leftovers due to FOMO, but (given my current team) it'll be hard to not take someone like Jeudy.

I own Picks 12, 13, and 14 and am currently looking at BPA of Shenault, CEH, and Tua/Burrow (non-SF). Not saying I won't be happy with them, but to me the first two seem like those questionable players that just do enough to stick around and clog your roster but never really make the starting lineup.

So perhaps we should start a thread about after the top 12  :P

I have 1.02, 1.05, and 1.06 in one FFPC league so happy looking at the various player options this year. Barry Sanders, Maurice Jones-Drew, Devonta Freeman fit the short 5'7" to 5'8" but productive RB.

Aaron Jones was just talked about as well in one of the many other threads. But GB still wants to sprinkle in Williams and possibly add another back to the mix.

I knew Barry would be brought up. That's 22 years ago. Different era of players with a whole different size lineman.
Interesting article: https://operations.nfl.com/the-players/ ... fl-player/

MJD was good for 3 years, but really fizzled out due to injuries.

Freeman - Injuries again. Hasn't done anything since 2016.

Maybe if they were slightly bigger they could withstand the beating of the league? Biased thinking, but it prompts questioning. Granted I think a majority of the NFL nowadays is leaning towards RBBC for this very reason of keeping fresh legs on the field.

I really hope Henderson didn't go 1.01 over Jacobs last year, that's laughable.

I know, as a 1.02 holder 5'8" Swift is a concern. He had lighter usage in college so him being able to handle heavy workload is a question mark for sure.

MANY RB fizzle out after being productive for 3 years or fantasy starters for that long. Heck look at Gurley off top of my head as falling off. Guess that is why many RB fall off around 26 or 27 years of age.

Question is can Swift and CEH (Singletary, Lindsay, Cohen recent shorter RB) shorter than average backs hold up compared to larger type backs for the same amount of years due to their less than optimal height?
