Ugh. Dropped a TD that hit him in the chest. Bernard/Burrow both with 1 yard TD runs after Mixon stuffed inside the 5 several times.

Gonna try the reverse jinx thing again as it worked two weeks ago. Situation is great today Mixon should have big points already but he is sucking today, not the Bengals.

I'll be honest though. I've had Mixon handcuffed with Gio his whole career and I'm much more confident starting Gio when Mixon is out than I am starting Mixon when Gio is healthy. Gio has been a fantasy monster when he gets the starts and he doesn't have anyone stealing the garbage time looks from him like Mixon does when he's the starter.

I want Mixon to play only from the standpoint of keeping up his value if I decide I want to trade him. From the standpoint of actually trying to get more fantasy points and win this week's game though I'd actually prefer Mixon sits.

In all seriousness though Gio has averaged 21.46ppg in the 5 games Mixon has missed.

And the receiving usage protects him against a blowout which the Bengals are prone to, whereas with Mixon a blowout often means we frustratedly sit around watching Gio catch dumpoffs for most of the 4th quarter.

You are right though, not all fp's are created equal, when Gio is the lead back it means Mixon is out altogether which gives Gio free reign. Its a reason why I've kept Latavius this year, the potential of Kamara being out leaving Latavius as the Bell cow is so appealing to me.

Still don't even know what the injury is, never had any indication of the severity of it weeks ago when it happened. Even the Bengals beat reporters live up to the Bungles name.
