Re: Kyren Williams
I picked up Kyren off the WW last year, when he was injured, and am a contender this year. I don't know about long term, but this year, and next year, he's going to have a significant role. The draft is weak, and unless the sign a top end RB in FA, which is doubtful, Williams will be a viable FF option. If I get anything more than that, it's a major bonus. He cost nothing, and has been a top producer. The RB position is so volatile, the reality is for 80-90 percent of RB's, you are looking at 1-2 year windows.

Re: Kyren Williams
Wow, did I ever get it wrong. It's just how injury in the first season for a player skews your opinion of them. Even after the 1st game of the season my brain couldn't comprehend what my eyes were seeing in that game.
However I did pick him up in a couple of leagues after good reports in camp. I just didn't see him beating out Akers and having a large role.
Now I see a rb that is patient to find a crease in the line and quickly accelerate once he makes a decision. Just so quick once he puts his foot down.
Rams offense is like chalk and cheese when he's on the field and not.

Not to mention he is strong for his size. He really carries defenders on some plays. His leg drive is really good.Kurt G.O.A.T. wrote: ↑Fri Dec 22, 2023 12:47 am Wow, did I ever get it wrong. Re: Kyren Williams
He's been so consistent and reliable without any flash.
He's a Toyota.
He's a Toyota.
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.
Re: Kyren Williams
He's averaging over 25 fantasy points a game this season and averaging 5.1 yards per carry, he is not driving like a Toyota
I am just a guy sharing some thoughts
Re: Kyren Williams
I think the idea is that although Toyotas don't have those desirable physical features and measurables of a Corvette (or Hummer if you're looking for a Jerome Bettis), they do get it done with just being more efficient in their work.

Everyone is way off, he’s more like a Honda than a Toyota.
Re: Kyren Williams
I just need him to drive me to a fantasy championship, amirite?

Bummed I had a share or two but dropped them. Sigh. Such is fantasy.

Re: Kyren Williams
Are we really expecting anyone but him to be the lead back next year?
Where is he in Dynasty at this point? Top 10?

He's #1 in our hearts for his championship game production.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 2:24 pm Are we really expecting anyone but him to be the lead back next year?

Re: Kyren Williams
Can't imagine he's not the day 1 starter next season. I still can't help but have the desire to shop him at top 5 RB prices after picking him up for basically free this season.
