If you're a Rosen, Winston, Mariota, Trubisky owner and are NOT picking up guys like Minshew, then you get what's coming to you.
Whether you think Minshew is good or not, he's showing he's a pretty competent QB so far...which, sh!t, is as much as you can hope for from a QB. Let alone, a QB with almost 0 running game (thanks LF7). People are hoping/praying to see that from Rosen.
Guys like Mullens and possibly Minshew are showing that they can play on an NFL field, whereas, plenty of higher drafted QBs show they don't. They should be rostered.

The former Coug is throwing really well, and making pretty good decisions. His numbers should have been even better than they were if not for Westbrook having a uneven night. Jaguars brass have to be feeling pretty good about what they've seen so far. Fair to wonder though how things will play out moving forward. Once teams have some film on him to study and game plan with.
I'm pulling for the guy, as I like his style. And it's a good story of a 6th-rounder beating the odds to this point. Anyone who watched that game had to be at least a little impressed with his composure, and ball placement with his throws. He certainly looked like a starter in Week 3.

I highly doubt Minshew finishes the year as the starter in Jacksonville. I'd have him in the 20's of the QB rankings. There are a few starters I'd put him ahead of, but not many.

Not even sure that's the case, really. Foles looked good in his limited action with the Jags. He's looked good with the Eagles when called upon. He's getting paid a ton of money. Unless Minshewcan outright outplay Foles, he's going to sit IMO.
