If your team is relatively healthy...
...are you living in fear, waiting for the other shoe to drop?
Fingers crossed, my team has been mostly intact, although losing Dez was a bummer, and I wasn't sure when Gurley was coming back. But each week, with top players falling like dominoes, I'm getting an uneasy feeling that one of my studs could be next. I generally don't handcuff, but I find myself poking around the waiver wire more than I normally would.
Maybe it's just me, as I tend to envision worst case scenarios when it comes to fantasy. Anyone else nervous?

"Because of (the Raiders), there's the no-clothesline rule, the no-hitting-out-of-bounds rule, the no-fumbling-forward-in-the-last-two-minutes rule, the no-throwing-helmets rule and the no-Stickum rule. So you see, we're not all bad." - Ted "The Mad Stork" Hendricks

Re: If your team is relatively healthy...
yeah, one key guy goes down it can make your team really vulnerable .. but its why we play and build great Dynasty teams no?? No better feeling than overcoming injuries and still winning
@PlankMelody
Re: If your team is relatively healthy...
Our teams are completely unrelated, from a probability standpoint, of having one of our players go down because other teams have. Injuries are (99%) isolated incidents and not the result of others. There's no reason the probability of injury won't affect a team that's already been snakebitten any differently than a healthy team. That's just the misfortune of fantasy football...
If you're healthy, you've got something to bring up at the dinner table at Thanksgiving.

A TE injury could really do me in, otherwise I have enough depth or are already crappy at the position (RB) where if someone goes down the plug-n-play option isn't much worse.

Actually, yiu could say that the probability of a healthy team getting hit with an injury is a little higher simply because they have more healthy players left to get hurtiCantStop wrote:Our teams are completely unrelated, from a probability standpoint, of having one of our players go down because other teams have. Re: If your team is relatively healthy...
My first team has had RBs dropping like flies..
Team 2.. I've been pretty lucky so far.. only dealing with an ASJ injury..
Although.. it'll probably happen come playoff time.

Re: If your team is relatively healthy...
These injuries are one of the main reasons that I own multiple teams. Of course I enjoy it but when I use to have one or two teams, injuries could literally ruin the whole fantasy season. Now, even though I've had my share of serious injuries, I still have a few teams that have been somewhat unscathed so far(fingers crossed)
