Most underrated/underappreciated player in dynasty football

This is the only name that should be in this list. Most consistently underrated and undervalued WR in fantasy

Although Woodhead should probably be on the list too

Been trying to trade Maclin or Decker for a RB this week and there's simply no interest out there for a deal which involves any RB of any quality whatsoever. Even from teams loaded at RB and hurting at WR. I just keep getting responses like "Fair offer but I'm not a Maclin fan"

Oh well. If those owners don't like scoring points as they jockey to win the league it won't bother me. I'm on to 2016 anyway and I'll happily roll with Maclin and Decker in my WR3/4 slots next year (we start 2 flex so I can play them any week I feel it's a good move).

QB: Phillip Rivers (always been underrated)
WR: Brandon Marshall (stud. Treated like an old beat up Steve Smith-like WR3 on the market)
TE: Jordan Reed

Rivers was once thought of as QB3-5 but that year he tanked out made him fantasy poison for some.
Marshall is/was undervalued because of age, increase in injuries and his new situation at QB(Geno/Fitz)...not sure he was underrated. People still want him...they just don't want to pay more than a late 1st
Reed is valued low because he can't stay on the field. If he could play a season he would be valued appropriately. He is valued like other solid players that can't stay off the trainers table (Rudolph/Cameron)

I know he has been mentioned several times but it's easily Julian Edelman. My top 5 would be:
Edelman
Woodhead
Rishard Matthews
Phil Rivers
Allen Hurns

I'm sticking with Hurns as my top choice. I agree that guys like Edelman, Woodhead and Rivers are undervalued, but they're all on the older side, which is a reasonable reason for some dynasty owners to avoid them (particularly rebuilding owners). Hurns is only in his second year and would appear to be a great dynasty asset for any team, contenders and rebuilds alike, yet you probably couldn't even trade him straight up for any of the three old guys above.

I bet you could get Woodhead or Rivers for Hurns, maybe even both in a start 1QB league.
Edelman obviously not because Bortles isn't good and Brady is spectacular

Doubtful, in my league at least. Woodhead owner is 7-1 and starting him opposite Freeman. Rivers owner is 5-3 and only has Teddy behind him. I just texted both of them to ask. Told them it wasn't a trade offer, just out of curiosity. I'll report back with their replies.

"No. That's not even remotely close for me. Rivers would require a big package to take him from me. I can trade Rivers straight up for Devante Adams if I want. But Rivers is way too important for my playoff run this year."

Another undervalued player and I don't own any shares of him, is Chris Ivory. It seemed like he was injury prone so I stayed away but he's having a really solid season so far.

If u use Kickers, S. Gostkowski is the answer. At a position that is impossible to predict and fluctuates even more than RBs do season to season, he has been and is the ONLY sure thing at the position. He gives u the same kind of advantage Gronk does with positional dominance, only on a little smaller scale. And he is worth absolutely nothing in trade except as a throw in. I hate kickers and would rather not have to deal with them, but if u have to this is the guy to own.

What about Theo Riddick? He is producing this year and he could be a starter in PPR for many years. These PPR machines are always undervalued hence Woodhead/Sproles historical values.

As I said context is everything. Because both are contending I can see why neither would trade them especially in a start 2RB league. Also 17 man rosters in a 12 team league are very shallow. Hurns could just as easily be a cut next year after a rookie draft as a potential starter
