Dez Bryant Recovery

Postby Westy22 » Fri Oct 30, 2015 10:20 pm

What are Bryant owners doing this week? Do people think he will play, if so will he be on a snap count or have an impact. A healthy Dez would struggle against Seattle.

On the recovery more generally, he has recovered remarkably well. Many people speculated a whole season out. Do you think he is risking it a bit by rushing back?

If he comes back healthy and managed to stay out of trouble this whole time I will be very impressed.

A healthy Dez didn't struggle last time they played Seattle.

Also what exactly has Dez done to warrant such off the field concerns?

I'm sitting him because I can afford too, I think he'll get limited play.

This X2. I said from the time he was first injured that 6-8 weeks was about right. I'm not sure where people were getting that he would be out the entire season. Also, I don't understand what the original poster was talking about as far as trouble, Dez, other than a few sideline arguments has really never gotten into trouble.

There's always a non specific, nebulous cloud of alleged troublemaking and off the field problems with Dez that just doesn't exist.

There was the mysterious video. I am heavily invested in Dez and just want to make sure I am on top of things. Being away from the game was not good for Blackmon/Gordon! (Yes I realise different situations/people/track record)

I just don't want him rushing back to play with Cassel for two crappy weeks if he is risking reinjuring himself.

I think Dez plays 40-45 snaps (2/3). Hard to gauge what happens with Cassell but he's not afraid to take some shots so I'm sure he'll give Dez some opportunities to make a play.

I think it'll be a low scoring game though. I think both defenses will control this game.

If Dez is active I'm playing him every time. Even if he's on a snap count, he could still go 2/20/2 or something.

I'm starting him, but not with 100% confidence. When a guy is coming back from an injury, and you feel like it may be rushed due to teams struggles, you always have to have some concern it is for morale or just perception of another threat, and not due to guaranteed 100% on field readiness. Throw in the Cassel/Seattle factors, and there is lots of uncertainty even if he is healthy.

If it wasn't for byes/injury he'd be sitting for me until I could get a chance to see the situation. Unfortunately at this time of year there aren't always such luxuries. Roll with the stud and hope for the best!

People thought full season because there were rumours that he had the same type of break as Julio, so people figured he'd take as long to heal. I'm starting him this week. My alternatives are Marquess or Justin Hunter, so it's a pretty easy decision.

Where were the rumors it was the same injury as Julio? I never heard that once..

Unless you mean Marvin Jones..

I feel like he might be rushing back and could aggravate it.

Im tempted to start him because I just traded for him, but I think going with Evans is the smarter call. Is it?

This week I would - Evans is going to eat up targets with no VJax or ASJ.

We don't know how healthy Dez actually is (if he plays).

I would definitely go Evans. I own Dez on many teams but I'm not starting on any this week but I have some good options to start ahead of him, like Randall Cobb. That's how I'm approaching it, if you have some good options besides him, I would probably go with those over Dez. I love Dez as much as anyone around but I think with Romo still out, this will be a low-scoring game and there is a decent chance that Dez is on a snap count. Now, if you have to choose between Dez and someone that's a lower tier WR, then I would just go with Dez.
