This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Rookie Draft Review

Postby monstermike » Fri Jun 19, 2015 8:35 pm

I had the 1.01,1.03,1.04 and 1.06 in the draft after going into rebuild, I pulled off a huge trade during the season and it all worked out, this is how my draft went. I know its an 8-man league and teams are generally stacked but they are even in this league. Any opinion appreciated.

1.01 = Todd Gurley
1.03 = Melvin Gordon
1.04 = Kevin White
1.06 = Devante Parker
3.05 = Jay Ajayi
4.05 = Buck Allen
Supplemental = Tre McBride
Dynasty League (Year 2)/Non-PPR/Non IDP/30 Roster Spots/3 Flex Spots (WR, RB and TE)/1 IR
4-point 400 yard passing bonus/4-point 75 yard QB rushing bonus/QB TD's = 4 points/ Non-QB TD's = 6 points

QB: Cam Newton, Ben Roethlisberger, Carson Palmer
RB: Le'veon Bell, Todd Gurley, Melvin Gordon, CJ Spiller, Ryan Matthews, Justin Forsett, Shane Vereen, Jay Ajayi, Buck Allen, Lorenzo Taliaferro, Bilal Powell, Tim Hightower, Branden Oliver
WR: AJ Green, DeAndre Hopkins, Allen Robinson, Mike Evans, Larry Fitzgerald, Kevin White, Stefon Diggs, Rishard Matthews, Ted Ginn Jr
TE: Travis Kelce, ASJ, Dwayne Allen
Kicker: Chandler Catanzaro
2016 Picks: 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th

You got four of the top five players. Well played, sir. Just curious who went 1.05? You should bake that guy a cake for reaching on someone and letting you snag Parker.

I think Ajayi is a nice grab with the 21st pick as well. The Buck Allen pick makes sense for you too, since you've pretty much got the Ravens' backfield on lockdown now for the foreseeable future.
Both are 12-team 1QB PPR dynasties

thanks!
Yeah I like Buck Allen and had to tie up that backfield, as for Ajayi was tossing up between him and Devin Smith and decided Ajayi. I'm happy with the Parker pick and was happy to take Gurley at 1.01 although I love Cooper. DGB was taken at 1.05 in our league so I took happily took Parker.
