This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Should I draft to compete or future? Plus trade

Postby shalna » Fri Jun 12, 2015 5:48 am

Also I've been offered 2nd round pick 3 for Martavis? Should I do this?

12 team 6 keeper league. All tds worth 6. 1qb,2rb,2wr,1te,1flex,1k,1d
My keepers Hyde,Ellington,Sankey,Evans,Martavis,Watkins
I have two 1st rounders 4&6 and then I don't have a pick till the 4th and I'll be picking 6th from there on out.

Top players not kept besides rookies
Foster
Rivers
Miller
Maclin
Desean
Matthews
Landry

Who would you be keeping if you traded Bryant?

nah hold on to him as he is worth a 1st and you can get that during the season and can better judge your team versus offering him to a team that will have an early 2016 1st even after getting him

I assume this is a rookie/fa draft. If so, Bryant isn't worth a first with some of those fas on the board (Foster, Miller, Landry). Although the pick is decent value, and you don't have any more until the 4th, I'd probably hold firm. The bigger question is why are you keeping Sankey? Is it because you overpaid for him in the draft last year and don't want to cut ties? Cut/trade him if you can and add someone with more upside.

Are you saying you can trade Bryant for the 2.3 in a combined rookie/FA draft? And each team only keeps 6 players? I'd easily make that trade. When you are only keeping 6 players, it tends to turn into more of a redraft so I'd draft to compete. You've got a decent core of Watkins, Evans, Hyde that are young to build around. I'm sure you can draft 3 more keepers for next year so just worry about taking BPA regardless of age.

If I traded him I would just have to get another pick thrown in I wouldn't be keeping anybody else
