Trade

14 team PPR

I received an offer of my 1.05 (which will be Melvin Gordon 100% certain), Nick Foles, 2016 2nd (probably early to mid), for Stafford, 1.06 (most likely Parker), 2015 2.14, 2017 3rd. This is a no-brainer right? My only solid QB is Bridgewater. Only problem I can see is i'm so thin at RB that Gordon would have helped my core.(I have 1.01 so I'll get Gurley). Though I imagine I can find something on the waiver wire.

Trade Stafford for Foles?
Yeah I would easily make that deal in a 14 team league

I'm not a huge Stafford fan, but I feel like in a 14 team league QB depth is little more valuable. Am I wrong with that thought?

Thanks, that is what I was thinking. Feeling a little gun-shy due to the fact I won't be getting Gordon. But i'm not totally sold on him either.

If Gordon goes to the Cowboys at 27 on Thursday I doubt he makes it to 5 in many drafts
How do you know 100% he is there at 5?

I have 1.01 Gurley, he has 1.02 Cooper, 1.03 is most certainly taking Mariota (dumb I know, but it is a certainty at this point, duck bias) 1.04 is me White, 1.05 is me Gordon, 1.06 is him Whomever.

If he takes Gordon at 2 then I get my choice of Cooper and White.

Should I feel nervous relying solely on Bridgewater? I like the guy a lot, but am a little nervous that my depth at QB isn't super great.

I love Bridgewater (I have him on 3 of my 4 teams), but I would like to see it for one more year before I feel confident as my starting quarterback.

Do the trade. Who knows where Mariota goes. Maybe he goes somewhere where he won't start for a while and gurley, Gordon, Cooper and White go in the first four picks...
16 Team PPR 1 QB - 2 RB - 2 WR - 1 TE - 1 Flex
QB- R.Wilson, B. Mayfield
RB- D. Cook, Zeke, J. Jacobs, J. McKinnon, A. Collins, I. Smith, B. Hill, R. Armstead, M. Boone
WR- J. Smith-Schuster, T. Boyd, C. Sutton, M. Brown, H. Ruggs, S. Miller
TE- G. Kittle, Enron, C. Herndon
'21 Picks- 1.12

I'm curious to hear what the 1.05/Foles side have to say. Does that one spot in the draft really make that big of a difference to you?

I think it is more than just the spot.
I think that for some 1.05 is the last of the top tier players for some. For other 1.03 or 1.04.
For me even if the dropoff is that significant Stafford >> Foles in a 14 team league
