Moving Flacco

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Moving Flacco

Postby joeymags220 » Fri Jan 16, 2015 11:33 am

I'm trying to move Flacco. I own the 9th pick in each round of the 4 round rookie/fa draft. I'm kind of trying to move out of the draft except for maybe 2 picks, I feel like I need to make some consolodation moves.

So, that said, I'm trying to get the 1.10 in a ten team league. The owner of the pick has Peyton and Cutler at QB. Is flacco straight up for the pick even close? What picks should I add to it to make it fair? It it worth adding 3.09 and/or 4.09 to the initial offer?

Sorry for all the questions. I don't feel confident in my judging of draft pick value. He could be hoping to get Mariota. Everyone in the League is from Oregon though, so I'm not sure he will last that long lol

Thank you for the help.

can you start QB in the flex?

I think there is no chance that flacco and a 3rd or 4th rd pick will land you the 1.10.
team 1 -start QB RB 2WR TE 2RB/WR 1WR/TE
qbs=5pt tds wr/te=1 ppr rbs=.5ppr all get .25ppc
Watson, Brady, Mills
Ekeler, Hunt, Carson/Penny, DForeman, Mitchell, CPat, Kyren, Ford, KHarris
Cooper, sutton, Chase, Shepard, Atwell, Schwartz, Wan'Dale, Austin III
Gesicki, Engram, Hooper, Woods
team 2 -start QB 2RB 3WR TE 2Flex K D
Cousins, Stafford
DH JT, Ekeler, Kylin Hill, Herbert, KHarris, Chandler
Hopkins, Diggs, Adams, Godwin, McLaurin, Callaway, DPJ, Robby Anderson, Schwartz, Pierce, Wan'Dale, Doubs
Kelce, Andrews, Jacob Harris

In a standard roster league (start one QB), I don't think you're going to get much for Flacco. He is a mid-range QB2 and will probably only get you a mid-2nd round pick if a team desperately needs QB help.

We only start 1 QB.

I'll start looking at another strategy. Thanks for the input.

Agreed, in a 10 team start 1 QB if you could get a 2nd for Flacco you should take it and run. Backup QBs have VERY little value.
