Sell. Use today's "big game" for Martin to score something.

Hold. Both have really low values. Wait till next season.

Why would anyone sell Spiller just as he's getting out of Buffalo? What are you going to get, a mid-2nd?

Suppose you have to hold Martin is well but I don't have as much hope for his value going up next year.

Sell after you know their new teams. Spiller is a free agent and Martin is a near-lock to get traded.

This. Of course people say sell because both have been massive flops, but realistically what are you going to get out of them right now?

With the season being over now, I don't see how either players' value can fall any further than it already has (Catastrophic acts of God aside). Player values during the season are about performance on the field. Player values during the offseason are about news and projections. With both Martin/Spiller possibly/likely heading to new teams, there's going to be an opportunity to get more out of them than you will right now.

If someone's offering you an "overpay" when compared to what either player is worth at the moment, then by all means sell. If you're getting the run-of-the-mill mid-late 2nd offers for them, you may as well just hold on and play the dynasty stock market game during the offseason.

I don't own them but if I did I'd want at least a 1.06-1.09 for either of them.

Spiller was a top 4 redraft pick 2 years ago, and the Bills just failed to use him correctly. If he finds a better fit in FA he could be a steal.

Doug Martin went for over 1900 total yards his rookie year. He was going close to 1.01 in startups. The entire TB offense has gone to bleep since then, not just him. They're getting their pick between Mariota and Winston who could spark the offense and Mike Evans will be drawing a lot of coverage.

They're both gambles but I'd say they're better buys than sells due to how bad their values have plummeted.

Agree that they're both buy-lows for the right price if they're owners are fed up, but I doubt you're going to get a 1st rder for either of them if you're selling.

If you can get any 1st rounder for either of them, I'd sell immediately. Otherwise, may as well hold on at this point

Very well said.

I traded for Dougie last offseason, and obviously while 2014 wasn't what I was hoping for, I'm FAR from the point of giving up on Dougie. Ive been a huge supporter since Day 1, and really from an overall perspective of the last two years, I haven't seen any reason to sell low. I think 2013 was extremely unjust in terms of everyone's hate toward him, and obviously TB was a disaster in 2014, where no one appeared able to rush the ball well.

Holding Dougie as long as he has a glimmer of hope in the NFL, and IMO he still has a large ray of light shining on his future.

Only 5 RB's in the past 3 years have posted 1400 yards and 40 receptions:

Peterson
McCoy
Foster
Murray
Martin

Not young anymore, but he's far from done at 26.

No one is giving up a first four either of these guys. If that's what an owner is holding out for, the let him be left holding the back with these bums.

What leagues do you guys play in where people value players based off of the last game they played? I see the annoying " wait until he has a big game then sell" or "use his one big game to sell him high" arguments used constantly on this site, and unless you play with a bunch of idiots, I don't understand how you can expect people to overpay for players right after they have a good game. 99+ percent of dynasty owners aren't that dumb. Sorry, just something that has bugged me for a while, and I figured this was as good a thread as any to voice my opinion on that matter.

In terms of Martin and Spiller, I would be holding both right now. If either are signed to a new team, then we can take an in- depth look at the exact situation and re-evaluate from there
