Team Disappointments

Anyone else have high expectations this year and find your team totally under perform or be very unlucky. I thought I had the best team by far and finished the year 4-8.

Here was my main guys on my roster:

QB: Matt Ryan
RB: McCoy, Gio, Peterson
WR: AJG, Dez, Torrey Smith, Allen Robinson, Decker
TE: Vernon Davis

Man it was a rough year in this league.

I would've been very happy with that team. A lot of bad luck this year though. Resist the urge to break it up or sell low on those guys.

Just missed the playoffs at the 7th seed for League of Champs in sig...

Multiple things screwed me thus tear.
1. Calvin (injuries, bad weeks)
2. Neither Ryan/Newton had a good year. (Ryan Oline issues, Newton needs weapons)
3. Gore needs to retire so Hyde can take the throne. (Hopefully)

............ Nice team, but everyone had down days at the worst times... only Rodgers & Jordy were consistent.

I finished 7-6 in my main league, which was a surprising finish. Out of the playoffs, but one more win and I was in. This was good since I totally blew my team up in the offseason.

I was heavily disappointed in my work redraft league, however. I came out of the draft feeling VERY good:

QB: Stafford
RB: Vereen, Gerhart, Ingram, Jackson
WR: Megatron, DT, Alshon, Fitz, Benjamin
TE: Ertz
Def: Cardinals
K: Vinatieri

I even made what looked like a good trade before the season started: Alshon and Vereen for CPat and Ellington. I think maybe if Ingram hadn't gotten hurt, I would have won enough to make the playoffs. As it was, Ellington was a dud early, Megatron got hurt, DT started slow, and CPat had one good game, the first game - where I outscored the whole league.

I ended 6-7, winning 4 straight once Megatron and DT got consistent, but out of the playoffs. I could have dominated in the playoffs, too...I picked up Gordon and Mike Evans.
