Especially Hunter. Wright is great at the short game while Hunter has the skills to excel down the field. If you are a Hunter owner this is the best news you could hear.

I'm semi skeptical of his long term viability and will leave him on the wire outside of 2QB/superflex or super deep (16 team) leagues.

Might help Hunter in the long term but I'm not trusting him this week. This makes me most excited for the Texans defense this week.

He was a 6th round pick. That's all you need to know. Yea yea Tom Brady, ACL, diluted urine sample, blah blah. It takes more than just a strong arm to succeed in the NFL. I hope he does well, which is why I picked him up for my team, but I'm expecting more of a Case Keenum situation from last year. The Titans don't have next years starting QB on thier roster. Whether they draft him in the first round next year, or sign a stop gap and delay it till 2016 remains to be known. For all we know, they might be pulling a 2011 Colts here and using him to tank into Mariota. Clipboard Jesus isn't that good, but he's got enough veteran experience to win them a few more games here and there.

I own Mettenberger and I have some hopes for him, but I agree it's not a good sign when you're a QB and a 6th round pick. As you said, there were character concerns and injuries that helped him fall, but Jameis Winston is the mother of all character concerns and because he plays QB, there's pretty much no chance he falls to the 6th round. So there's definitely some truth to what you said.

Is he worth starting over Geno as my superflex this week? I have RG3 and it doesn't look like he's gonna play this week so I had Locker in as my superflex and immediately picked up Mettenberger and dropped Locker after i heard the news. As of now I have Mettenberger in the OP slot but Geno and Colt McCoy are on waivers.

In a Superflex?! How many teams? If it's more than 8 teams you should keep Mettenberger, pick Locker back up, and pick up Geno too. Is there are restriction on how many QB's you can hold or something?

So nobody likes Mettenberger long term in Tennessee? Coming into this season I had him just behind the guys like Bridgewater and Bortles. I'm not saying he is their guy of the future, but Whiz has done well with qb's. I guess if i was taking a flier on someone I would rather have him or Logan Thomas over guys like Savage or Manziel.
