You dont get suspension for deeds done prior to joining the NFL, that would be more Loony than consideringCough Syrup with Codeine = Punching a Woman and Knocking her out on Camera.

That's not exactly true. It's not common to get suspended in the NFL for "deeds done prior to joining the NFL", but it has happened before. Terelle Pryor entered the Supplemental draft in 2011, but entered the NFL on a 5 game suspension due to his part in the OSU "Tattoo Gate". I think this had more to do with the perception that Pryor was fleeing to the NFL to avoid NCAA penalties.

I think it's ridiculous how long they dragged this out, yet I feel no sympathy for him since he couldn't stay out if trouble twice while appealing the suspension. Guy is on a whole nother level of stupidity.
