Julio trade

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Julio trade

Postby cowboysfan » Fri Aug 08, 2014 1:42 pm

Which side do you prefer?

Julio
or
Mike Evans, Julius Thomas, 2015 1st

I'm the Julio owner and I already have Patterson, Watkins, and Desean Jackson. Thanks for the advice.

You already have a lottery ticket in Watkins and Patterson to some degree. Why trade a for sure thing for more maybes? Just my two cents, but You don't know what Julius Thomas's value is once Peyton leaves town. I'd rather keep Julio personally.

I'm not that high on Thomas, especially without Manning. Would take more then that to get Julio from me...

I'd keep Julio - I'm not sold on Evans and who knows who that 2015 1st will be. JT is just a TE - the difference between him and Charles Clay last year was just 30 pts - the difference between Jimmy and JT was 80pts...

I think it's an even trade, so it's more about situation.

If you are in a 10 team league, keep Julio. Studs = winners.

If you are in a league where you are looking to make the playoffs this year, Julio side.

If you're in a rebuild, the other side. Your team won't fair too well, and you'll get a sweet 1st rounder next year.

This a 16 team idp league. I also have Ball, Murray, and Michael at RB along with Foles at QB. My best guess is I will finish first or second in my division. The owner I'm n talks with May finish first in our division since he has Charles, lynch, RGIii, Julius. He is very interested in Michael though.

Giving the Julio would make the other team better, making the pick later

If trading Julio, need to get a stud back. Especially with your team with 2 good development guys already in Patterson and Watkins.

Julio and not that close after thinking on it a while. I own Julius and think he is average at best once Peyton is gone. 2015 is a crapshoot, and if Evans turns out like the guy he is being compared to (Vincent Jackson) then he is a top 10-15 guy. Would need a guaranteed stud to get him away from me.
