Startup -- Need RB or TE?

Just completed my first start-up and was looking for a little feedback...

12 team PPR (1.5 for TE)... 2RB/2WR/1TE/2Flex...

QB: Cam Newton, Ryan Tannehill
RB: Doug Martin, Lamar Miller, David Wilson, Khiry Robinson, Marcus Lattimore
WR: Randall Cobb, Andre Johnson, Sammy Watkins, Michael Crabtree, Justin Hunter, Odell Beckham Jr., Justin Blackmon
TE: Jordan Reed, Jermichael Finley, Delanie Walker

Thin at the RB2 slot depending on how training camps shake out, and pretty risky with injuries at the TE slot. Would I be making a move just to make a move and feel better about a roster in June? Should I let the camps play out before trying to make a move to sure up some weak spots?

The pick that sticks out to me in Andre Johnson. I know he still produces, but he's definitely the "odd ball" pick of your team. You went heavy on youth except for AJ. Not that that's a bad thing, it's just something that stuck out to me.

I think your team can be competitive this season, but I think its a team that will need some time to develop (Watkins/Hunter/OBJ/Blackmon/Khiry).

Since you've gone so heavy on young players, AJ would be the player I'd want to trade for a RB. The problem is that his trade value is very low right now. You may have to wait until in-season to get decent value for him. If someone still believes in Miller/Wilson/Blackmon, I'd be ok with packaging 2 of them (or all 3) together to get a RB2.

Do u have a link to your draft? Also what spot did you pick from and did you make any trades during the draft?

As far as your question, I think you should wait to see how wilsons health is during camps and lamar millers role. Id then look at which teams have hbs depth and pick someone from those teams that you like to target.

Depending on how you value him, someone like Carlos Hyde for Beckham is a possible target that jumps out at me.

I was picking from the 1.04/2.09 slot but did move my 1.04, 8.09, & 13.04 for the 2.01, 8.02 & 12.04. Really regretted making that move prior to the draft after seeing AJ Green fall to 1.08 in the actual draft. You live and learn, I suppose...

So you didn't make your first pick to 2.01? You dropped out of round 1 just to move up from round 13 to round 12? Could you pm me the link to the draft?

what were you thinking… move back 9 spots, to move 7 in the 8th round and a swap your 13th for 12th… C'mon man

Still a very good team...Cobb,Watkins, Crabtree, hunter at wr. I'm taking that all day. Plus Cam, Doug, and Reed. Good youthful team that will be competitive for years.

She couldn't have waited until AFTER all your dynasty drafts were done to have the wedding? SMH...the warning signs are already there...sure hope you know what you're doing.

You still have a very solid team to build around. Overall it was a nice draft.

Not to harp on this trade you made, but I'm going to anyways.

Just a heads up. I ran that trade through the fantasysharks draft pick calculator and it showed a 10.9% advantage for the owner you traded with. I'm not telling you this to reaffirm how bad the trade was, I'm telling you this so you can watch out for this owner in the future. The pick calculator seems to work fine (Though I prefer the footballguys pick calculator myself). I'm telling you this because if your trading partner told you the calculator said it was a fair deal, he flat out lied to you. Being in a dynasty league, you'll probably have to deal with this owner for a while. I just wanted to make sure you kept an eye on the owner that lied to you instead of discrediting a pick calculator that seems to work just fine.
