Is this a fair trade

My team below is in the signature. Guys have said I need to get younger.

I give: Reggie Bush, 2015 2nd, 2015 3rd.

I get: Larry Fitz, Benard Pierce, David Wilson.


I'm a bit concerned with David Wilson and his neck injury, plus both him and Pierce have fumbling issues. The upside is they are both young. Fitz would replace Bush as a flex option, not sure who I'd play during Foster or Rice's bye week or if injured though. What do ya'll think?

It's fair in a vacuum, but I wouldn't do it. Foster and Rice are both likely to miss time or be less effective than you'd hope, in which case your team as constructed is likely not a true contender in 2014. If that's the case, I don't like trading Bush and 2 picks for 2 question marks at RB and an old WR.

With Reggie's role decreasing and your lack of depth at WR, I like the idea, but I think you can get more. Fitz isn't the same player and Wilson may never play again.

i think thats a great trade for you. fitz will likely be playing on sundays while bush is sitting in retirement. in my opinion, fitz is more valuable than bush going forward. being a rice owner, pierce is certainly worth a 2015 2nd. and wilson is certainly worth a future 3rd. at that point, your just taking a high upside guy anyways.

i cant imagine the other guy accepting this to be honest if your thinking of putting the offer out there. if it were me, i could see a swap of fitz and bush depending on need. but the picks for the 2 rb's, i couldnt pull the trigger on. by the time 2015 rolls around, we could be looking at two valuable rb's.

As stated above, I would not make this trade either. I would rather stay pat than give up Bush & 2 draft picks. If you want to get younger then offer up Bush & these two picks to your league and see what other league owners are willing to give up. You'll then find out what value your commodities are worth to your fellow league mates. You might even find a deal you like better than this one offered or staying pat. Good luck.

I'd do that trade in a heartbeat based on value alone. People are down on Fitz (especially around DLF), but Bush is boo boo. I'd move him while he had any semblance of value before Bell overtakes him in 2014.
