BJGE for a 2015 2nd

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

BJGE for a 2015 2nd

Postby ramsey8582 » Thu Dec 05, 2013 1:42 pm

16 team league. Rushing yards worth 1pt for 5 yards. This seems like a decent value. I know he is aging and Gio is taking over, but I feel like he might be a good stop gap for my RB3/spot starter until 2015, where I have 4 1st rounders. Thoughts? Team and setting in sig.

I think that with your team, and the amount of 2015 1sts you have acquired, I would pull the trigger to get Law Firm. I think he will be a spot flex starter next year but I wouldn't count on him as any more than that. Without researching his age or contract, is there a chance I a change of scenery for him?

For you to acquire I think that is a very fair price in fact I think you are underpaying some as that is like a 2014 3rd for a RB in a RB premium league. Great deal for you and yes BJGE is not going to be a 1000 yard rusher but he is still a guy that can be counted on to carry the load and not turn the ball over so having the coaches trust is huge

Make the deal

Maybe it's just me but I wouldn't give up any pick for him even in a RB premium league. He isn't even their GL back as that's split with Gio so ur really hoping they are ahead a lot and grounding out games. I don't think They are a good enough team to bank of having a lot of leads late. Just my opinion.

I would take zero joy in acquiring BJGE. I'd rather work the offseason a bit more and perhaps dangle a future 1st or two to add some quality. BJGE is a roster clogger, imo.

BJGE is a competent NFL running back. I think he will continue to see playing time, and that's a relatively cheap price to pay to acquire him. You're not going to look at your roster and get giddy when you see his name, but I agree that he should be a nice spot starter. Hell, I bet Belichick would love to have him back right about now.

I have BJGE and would take that!

I have tried to trade him even for a 3rd or a 4th rder - no one wants him in one of my 16 team leagues

I'd keep the pick. Try and get something better at RB to fill the gap with the 1sts and use the 2nd on best available.
