I already got Reed and L. Green, but grabbed Bostick last night. I dropped Jarvis Jones figuring that one guy with Spinal Stenosis on my team is more than enough.

Just picked him up. I hope I can afford to hold him til next year as I'm in a playoff run and might need to make other moves.

I also picked up Mychal Rivera. Any thoughts on who could be the better TE long term? I hear Rivera has a pretty good connection with McGloin already.

How do you feel about McGloin's future?

Not sold on him by any means but I figure he's worth a pickup. I'll hold him for as long as I can for the same reason as Bostic.

I'm still pretty excited about him. He has a lot going in his favor right now; The Jermichael Finley injury and contract situation, the fact that Green Bay tends to draft and develop players from within, catching passes from the best QB in the league in a passing offense, and he's got the same basketball/athleticism/raw background that Gates, Graham, Cameron, Thomas, and so many other big time TE's have had. It's just so tough to evaluate him now because he's still really raw, and Scott Tolzien is playing QB. I think we'll know a lot about him this off-season same with Cameron. We weren't sure what to think about him early, but Cleveland not addressing the position at all said everything about their thoughts about him. I am glad he's getting this time now, it'll be better for him in 2014 then riding the bench behind Finley, and he should get at least a few games in with Rodgers.

Definately a strong hold for next year, way too much upside with him not to.

Bostick has been closing the gap with Quarless on snap count the past three weeks. Yesterday he had five targets with one catch for 24 yards. I watched the game and it looked like he played at least equal time to Quarless and definitely had more pass routes.

He & Tolzien didn't have much chemistry. I hope Rodgers starts soon so he can develop that chemistry in the regular season much like Cameron did last year with Weeden.

He's raw & unreliable now, but absolutely a strong hold for 2014. I don't know that I'd go out and trade for him, but if he's a free agent, I'd nab him up fro all of Chris_R's reasons.

Quarless played 70 of 94 offensive plays. Bostick played 20.

Bostick also dropped three passes, one of which would've been a TD. However, you can make a case that the drops weren't his fault, per se.

Wow. I stand corrected. Sure didn't seem like the snap difference was that big. The drops were as described though - not clearly Bostick's fault or the QBs, hence the chemistry comment.

Where did you get that info?

You can find player/play breakdowns on ESPN.com the day after the game. Here's this week's: http://espn.go.com/blog/green-bay-packe ... -breakdown

I'd be willing to bet that Quarless and Bostick were closer to 50/50 playing time before the drop in the endzone. And Bostick certainly had more meaningful routes to run.

Looks like Bostick has a concussion and wont be available for the Thursday night game.

Sadness...

Maybe we are seeing more concussions, or maybe we are just aware of more concussions. Its hard to tell but it definitely seems like we are seeing more injuries this year. I wonder if the increase in knee injuries comes from rules that protect the head. But anyhoo known head injuries have definitely increased.

It makes me sad... flag football by 2020?

exactly what I was thinking while watching the game -and the drops were awful, right in his hands. Yes, it's apt they are talking about him as Finley's replacement!

and then the news he might miss the next game with injury... it's all coming together...
