Who would you rather have in a PPR Dynasty?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Who would you rather have in a PPR Dynasty?

Postby Crazylegs » Sun Nov 24, 2013 3:26 pm

I own K. Rudolph, but L. Green is in waivers. I am considering dropping Rudolph for Green. I also have J. Cameron, T. Eifert and J. Reed. Thoughts?

Green, why you ask? he has more upside to me. plus you have some stud TE's already. Rudolph is nothing special, Green has playmaking ability to me

Since you have pretty good tight ends already I say take a shot with Green. I think he has more upside. If Minny gets a QB though keep an eye on Purple Gronk...he will be decent at worst case.

I would see if you can trade Rudolph. Someone might want to take a chance on him. You could get a pick for him and then pick up Green.

Those are all great TEs but is there ever a good reason to have (4) TEs on a roster? I'd like to take chances on RBs/WRs instead of having a 4th but thats just my opinion

Rudolph has the measurable of Gronkowski and he is relatively athletic and talented.

I am not sure you want to just up and cut him. If the Vikings get a talented QB next season Rudolph could be better.

I would try to trade Rudolph before you cut him.

Normally, no, you wouldn't want 4 TE's on your roster. However, I'm in leagues where the WW is so barren of talent, that sometimes the available talent is in odd positions TE, Kickers etc. I know that I have picked up a TE that has potential if I need a player and nothing else is worth grabbing. i have 6 or 7 TE's on one team. Hopefully, I can trade one or two in the future.

Exactly what I was going to say although as deep as you already are at TE I'm surprised Green is still out there t this point in the season? The vultures in any of my leagues would never let that happen.

I agree here. Wasn't long ago Rudolph was the #4 TE in dynasty rankings, & surely would not cut him. Minny picks up a solid qb, & his stock would rebound significantly.

Not sure of your league roster sizes or teams involved but I normally just go for talent. You never know, this offseason with 3 te's I picked up Juluis Thomas. After the first 6 games traded JT&3rd for Cordarrelle&2nd.
