Zach Ertz Value Thread - Now in Arizona

Ive drafted Zach Ertz in 4 drafts already this offseason, I was not in line to take Eifert, and Kelce was taken right before me in each league. Ive gotten him mid-late 3rd rd,

Him connected with Chip Kelly should help his prospects. I know he cannot block to save his life but being the move TE and even line up in the slot has got to give Ertz quite a bit of value even this year?. Whats the read on Mr Ertz? How do you feel about him in the Eagles offense this year and the future? Getting him late in the thrid made me feel i was maybe missing something on him.

Being that he was ahead of Eifert on many draft boards until the combines, I'd say 3rd round was a great value. He's gonna compete with Celek and Casey for PT, but neither is a long term solution for Philly, so I like his chance to develop and be their future TE.

Hate to say it, but yes I'd much rather have Kelce.

FWIW - Both went undrafted in my SC league which only goes two rounds deep in the rookie draft. Kelce is is right at the top of my list for the FA auction.

I don't know about you, but I just have the feeling that Ertz is going to have a huge game today. Finally getting the start and against Dallas, maybe we'll see what he's made of today. I'm quite excited!

I doubt he'll be terribly reliable for the rest of the year, but I think it's a sign of good things to come for sure. I wish I owned him!

i'm glad i drafted him. ...Seen alot of people down on him and his potential around here was just curious if this helps peoples opinion

Ugh, I had to drop him midway this year because we have relatively shallow rosters, and I already had 3 TEs (Reed, Eifert, Bennett). Goddamn do I wish I had kept him now. Even if I'm set at TE, I could probably have traded him for something now.

As an eagles fan and a ertz owner I am hoping they release Celek in the offseason and Ertz is the go to Te for Foles next year

Agree with this 100%. I have a huge need for a TE in my main dynasty. At this point i'm fumbling around with Tim Wright each week and still winning. I have Ertz and Ladarius Green stashed. So i'm crossing my fingers i'll be okay at TE in the future. Ertz is a great future hold even better when Celek is out of the way. With Foles at QB I see big things for him. Just not this year unfortunately for my team.
