Percy Harvin Vs. Dez Bryant

Postby pemo » Wed Apr 10, 2013 12:48 pm

I got back and forth on this one a lot, with Bryant usually coming out ahead in my eyes. Both have their risks and upside, which do you prefer in PPR?

Dez is in a proven situation, has shown maturity, and can produce at elite levels when healthy.

Harvin is in an unknown situation, has not shown maturity, and can produce at elite levels when healthy.

I vote Dez (even though Im a Harvin owner) by rule of deductive reasoning.

I have Dez over Harvin, but not by much at all. It's really a toss-up for me.

Dez for me by a narrow margin. BOTH have shown immaturity. Both have shown glimpses of being elite fantasy assets. Dez for me because I trust Romo and the Dallas offense over Wilson and the Seattle offense for now. Primarily because imo Seattle has a very stingy defense while Dallas has some serious concerns there. I believe Dallas will be passing more than Seattle in 2013.

Considering the two offensive schemes and how the WRs are used, I would say that Dez is more likely to explode week-to-week, but Harvin is less likely to lay an egg week-to-week. My thinking is that Dez will have these games where he catches some bombs for TDs and that is just huge points, but Harvin's targets are of the higher-percentage variety and he'll have volume on his side.

risk taker in me says Harvin if you equal Harvins 1st half stats with Wilsons 2nd half stats wow...but on flip side not so great.

Ugh ... I love my Seahawks but Dez is a safer bet ... IMO opinion ... ever so slightly
