This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

I think these two are pretty close but would prefer to have the more explosive player who gets more looks around the goal line. Johnson for me.

Didn't it just come out that Johnson will be losing a lot of his goal line work??

As far as the original question, I value Forte more than Johnson. Just made a move with an extra QB for Forte. The owner originally offered CJ. I declined. Input Forte, and I took it. My reasoning essentially boils down to consistency. I think CJ has a higher ceiling, but a much lower floor.

There was a RW blurb speculating that and I believe the premise was Johnson can't do everything on his own. Considering TEN's No. 2 and 3 rushers last year were Locker and Hasselbeck, I'd say that's a fair assumption.

Good move. I actually acquired Forte last year specifically as an upgrade from CJ and then flipped Johnson for a WR upgrade, so I'm in complete agreement on Forte being the better player to have, especially with Tressman coming in.

Interesting comment on Tressman & Forte. How much of a change in Forte's value do you see Tressman having?

It's tough to gauge the increase in rushing stats because the CFL usually only has about 5-6 guys go over 1,000 yards, but they did have someone in the top 5 mostly every year. Depending on how much of the CFL offense Trestman(just realized I spelled it wrong) brings with him, I think Forte's increase will come from increasing his receiving numbers. I am interested in seeing Kromer's impact since his lines usually looked pretty good in New Orleans and those teams targeted the RB quite a bit. Of course a lot of that was from Payton, but a Bush-like receiving output with better rushing numbers wouldn't shock me at all.
