Good piece. Add more page breaks, though. It's hard to read when it's all one paragraph.

Sure Welker is kind of short. Why don't you tell me what you think.

Like the writing style.

Not so sure about the argument. Seems like you're assuming Welker has little value outside of NE. Is that a safe assumption? At the beginning of the article, you said we have too little of a sample to say one way or the other. Then you say one way..

Think I agree about your 'hold' assessment, but not with how you got there.

But again, good article.

*Also, I think it'd be important to note the jump in Brady's career as soon as Welker arrived. Pretty big 'detail' if you ask me.

Good point about the jump in Brady's career. That's something that once you mention it does ring true but now something I had really correlated in my mind. Also the assumption about Welker having little value outside of NE is just that, an assumption. I do think he would still have value but I think it would be a huge drop off from the WR1 numbers he has and is capable of putting up. But like you said it's a big assumption and that's the fun of dynasty, some gambles pay off and some come back to bite you. (like me trading for Austin Collie in the preseason)

That was the same time Randy Moss showed up as well.

If you had to give it a % value, what do you think his chances are of remaining in NE?

Brady wants him to stay. I know he doesn't make the decisions but if any QB will have some say on his WRs it's going to be brady. I don't think Edelman is ready to be the guy, I think they'll find a way to keep him.

I'm not sure he's a hold. I think he's a default hold, because you aren't going to get the value out of him to make trading him worth it a this point.

On a side note:
I agree with breaking it up into paragraphs. Since you asked, you also need to use more punctuation. I found this really hard to read, due to the lack of punctuation. You pause reading on the punctuation and put some form of punctuation everywhere you pause writing it. For example, here are the first few lines with some more punctuation added:

If you play in a dynasty league (which I hope you do, or are considering), then what to do with Wes Welker is a burning question on the minds of many. Welker's future in New England is uncertain at best. He sounded as if he has no clue what next season will bring for him, after the Patriots loss in the AFC championship game. As multiple media outlets have reported, it seems highly unlikely that the Patriots would place the franchise tag on him, so that means a multi-year extension would be the best case scenario. If Welker tests the free agent market, it will be very intriguing to see if the rest of the league views him as a system WR.

Anybody notice his penchant for drops lately?

Agree with adding more punctuation (and line breaks!).
Disagree with the second and last comma. They are not correct and/or needed.

Nice article, and I agree with most of what was said. However, on a personal level I really hope Welker leaves NE. I have Ededlman collecting dust on many dynasty benches and would love to see him plugged into the Welker role. I wouldn't epect Welker numbers out of him, but it would be a huge boost for Edelman. I doubt Welker gets tagged again, so at least Ill probably have an answer as to what to do with Edelman in a few months.
