Postby Dynastyman » Fri Aug 10, 2012 6:55 pm

So, Ryan Tannehill in his debut has led the DOlphins to a td pass and had another one overturned by replay. Tannehill looking good but still early.

His numbers so far are 14/21 for 167 yards and a td but he also had a td pass taken away by replay I think.

I know it's kinda off topic but she looks terribly average to me. He lives in Miami now and I get the feeling if he walked around the corner he would see 13 women who look a lot better.

On topic, he has been impressing me and the reports all off-season are very positive. With his athleticism, and the fact that he hasn't played QB that long, I think there is a lot of upside here. He's going to end up playing some this year, but eventually(hopefully next year) they grab him a WR in the 1st round next year to make life easy on him. It's actually 1 of the landing spots I'm keeping a close eye on next year for 1 of those landing spots for a WR that I'm going to love.

I think Tanny has top 15 QB upside, he's not struggling initially like I thought he would early, and he's only going to get better these next 3 years. He's very similiar to Locker to me and his athleticism is going to give him some added value in fantasy leagues.

Move to Miami lol. There are at least 5 cheerleaders on the team who are 10x better. Did you see Hardknocks yet? She doesn't even compare to them, and the cheeleaders in Miami aren't even the best looking ones as a whole.

Looking for some Insight on Tannehill

Postby Never Veto1 » Tue Oct 23, 2012 11:18 am

I've looked through the past 5 pages and have seen no posts about him, maybe I missed it, maybe no one cares about him. I haven't had a lot of opportunity to watch him, so I was wondering others thought's on him. I may have the opportunity to get him in the league in my Sig (2QB/20teams).

What do you guys think of Tannehill?

I drafted him as my future QB this year, and so far I'm happy with his development. He's steadily progressing. If Miami can get him a legitimate #1 WR next offseason and get their running game fixed, he can be a good one. Not a HoF candidate, just a good one. Just don't expect too much this year.

It doesn't matter what we want. Once we get it, we want something else.

You've got to be very happy with what we've seen so far. His numbers show he's been one of the better QB's in the league against the blitz, and he is doing what you expect to see out of elite signal callers which is make players around him better. He's got a cannon for an arm, and for not having any decent weapons on that offense I'm very pleased.

Just imagine him if he was throwing to Dwayne Bowe, and they drafted an athletic pass catching TE, his numbers will start to look much better. On top of watching Hard Knocks you can see how accurate he is also for yourself, I think he's got a pretty high ceiling and he's got a ways to go before he maxes himself out.

I gotta say, I am very intrigued with Tannehill right now. I have underestimated him to this point. As long as Miami doesn't blow up the coaching staff next year or 2, and he continues to improve, you may be looking at the best QB draft class since 2004 with Luck, RG3, and now Tannehill (Eli, Rivers, Ben).

Upside gauge: Tannehill

Postby KMA » Wed Jan 23, 2013 7:38 am

Does he have the same upside as Kaepernick and Wilson?
