Need help for IDP

Postby Blackout » Sun Apr 15, 2012 2:36 am

In my dynasty's 2nd year, i'm now looking for IDP and particularly LB, cause my corp is a little bit...light :D I think the rest is fine.

In my signature you can see my team. I don't know if Dent, KJ Wright and Connor will be enough this year...I have not much ILB except Dent, Connor (but in a 3-4 scheme), and KJ Wright should stay at Strong Side. I think i can't really rely on the rest. Maybe Wheeler.

I tried to get Willis and Haden plus pick 2.14 vs Welker but the owner wanted to offer a 3rd round, McCarthy and Earl Thomas. I refused, beacause for me Welker is much better than this package in PPR. Last year only Megatron finished ahead.

I just accepted a trade for Brady to have a combo.

Do you think i should reach for Kuechly or Hightower in the draft 2012 even with the 2.01 pick ?

What's your scoring system and your 5 top available lb on waiver wire . Also If Kelvin Shepard is there you might take a flyer on him cause he's now the new starting middle lb

Unfortunately, Sharpton is no more on the waiver wire and Sheppard was waived last year as undrafted

Scoring system is :

Tackle = 1.5 PTS
Asisst = 0.75 PTS
Pass defended = 2 PTS
Sack = 3 PTS
FF = 4.5 PTS

Here's what it remains in FA : http://football33.myfantasyleague.com/2 ... ints&TEAM=*

I can have until 7 LB in my roster and 40 all players max. I was thinking about a guy like Moats (I had it before cutting it), he is expected to play at strong side and be Sheppard backup at middle.

Since your league is tackle heavy search the waiver wire for any available starting MLB and WLB cause those 2 score the most in tackle heavy scoring . If there's no real starters available see what rookie has the best chance start at MLB on a team that is bad against the run cause that's a recipe for lots of tackles

No, the 2.01 is not a reach in an Idp league, especially if you have a huge need for it on your team. I expect nice careers for those 2, so if I was you I would take them there. Kuechly 1st, then Hightower.

Sharpton is WW material unless it's a really deep league and even then he's a bye week fill in at best... Houston could definitly draft someone for that spot, but it's not that great of a FF spot anyway.

Sheppard is the guy to get if he's available.

Connor is not going to be good and you should try to trade if you can get something for him. He's much more of a backup or WW material is FF, but even if he wins a starting job... he's not a 3 down LB which will greatly limit his upside to a LB yuo wouldn't want to start on a regular basis.
