Kamara or 2027 1st, 2027 2nd and 2025 2.12?

I was just offer a really nice value for Kamara.

Receive: 2027 1st, 2027 2nd and 2025 2.12.

I still love Kamara and I think he has at least a year or 2 left of really high end RB production. However, this seems like the last stop for real value I’m likely to get for such an old RB. My problem is that I’m light on RBs and am a very strong contender. Lost in the championship last season in a close one. I’m hoping to target a guy like Hampton in the draft at 1.05 if the NFL draft doesn’t crush my dreams. Not forcing anything but I love the prospect.

Do I throw starting requirements to wind here and take the value? I know I can figure out my lineup by the time the season rolls around. My league is pretty tough to trade for RBs but there’s almost always a deal to be made. Thoughts?

Ooh that’s tough. You have a really good team but you could go either way I suppose — might even be able to get a guy like Mixon or Henry for a lot less as the season gets nearer or another gap stop; at 1.5 you should be able to snag one of Hampton, Henderson or someone else depending on landing spot. Don’t hate it. It’s good value for sure.

It is from the team that beat me in the finals but on the backs of very old players like Henry, Kelce and Tyreek. The 2027 1st is the pick from a middling team that could go either way by that point. This team is trying to trade for Kamara to use him as a trade piece in a bigger deal. Likely not hanging onto Kamara in an attempt to get 1.03 or 1.04 for a rookie QB. I like my team’s odds against him either way. I destroyed him twice in the regular season. His team just had a season best week at the perfect time during our championship matchup. Fantasy football is great! Lol

I’m not worried about Kamara going to his roster even if he holds him. If things get hairy for Kamara this season his value will fall off the face of the earth so it feels like a good time to cash in.

As much as I like Kamara, I'm think I make the trade. As others said, 1.05 will get you a RB & maybe even 1 at 2.03, depending on how the draft works & RB is deep.

If it were in my inbox I think I would have. It was offered in discussion so I had more time to give it thought. Unfortunately, the offer was contingent on another deal being available for the owner getting Kamara and it ended up being offered to me as a 3 way trade and the 3rd party declined.

He doesn’t want to make that deal to have keep Kamara. The other owner had told him he’d need a good RB with DK for the pick but I guess he wanted younger.

Makes sense, as the team likely picking at 1.04 isn’t a contender, so acquiring Kamara isn’t the most ideal thing.
