Speaking on behalf of my son, I'd like to say, that the Hawks need to fix their OL and blocking issues. Walker is being wasted. If he was on Detroit, for instance, we'd be seeing insane stuff.

The one thing I liked from last year about Grubb (thought it may have been a McDonald thing), is that KP was out there on passing downs way more. He caught 4 passes a game, basically. Games where the run game wasn't working, or they got down big, he was out there catching swing passes.

I just hope after watching last year, they realize he's suited to be given the ball in space as a receiver, again.

We all know he's a fantastic talent, but without an OL, he's going to break tackles and throw guys off him just to get back to the LOS, or get a 2 yard gain that should have been a 4 yard loss. That's the worry. I hope he moves on after this year, unless that OL gets sorted. He's too talented to never see him run behind a decent OL in his prime.
I thought you'd appreciate the Walker love. I definitely think he's underpriced relative to his talent right now.

And Kubiak just came off a season where he fed a 29yo Kamara 300 touches (good for an RB10 overall finish) so you've gotta love the potential upside if they do truly identify Walker as the featured guy.

The problems, as always, are Charb breathing down his neck - and the abysmal line play, which we can only hope improves.

But without a doubt, he's a very talented back available at a discount right now.

#Adjust or die, sir. It's on.

Hilarious to think you wrote that only 4 days ago.

I’ve heard folks argue that we’re currently buying him now close his ceiling price (RD5 startup and early/mid 1st rookie pick valuation). I don’t agree with that but I think it’s a reasonable take
I'm pricing him as that with the 1.04. That's what I'm expecting from the purchase.

This guy is right a lot, and I think it lines up in this case. Just my early lean / gut feel on this one.

Vikings are all but confirming that they are rolling with JJ McCarthy in 2025 with their actions today.

I would still buy up to the 1.04 to grab him. That gap is now narrowing on the value front, I can see his value is now steadily rising today on KTC.

His value will easily exceed this if he proves out as a hit in Kevin O'Connell's fantasy-friendly system. KOC himself has clearly made his bet on this.

Last gasp buying window for a young potentially difference-making QB in SF right now...

So there we go, that's an owner who is even more bullish than me, proving it out on the value front. He's gone above the 1.04, even. People are moving in on JJM now as a priority acquire, and rightly so.

I would say your trade partner in that equation has (I think rightly) surmised that there isn't a better QB prospect in this class that will be available at 1.03.

Argument is out on Cam Ward, but certainly we can say with 100% certainty that JJM will be operating in the better 2025 offensive situation with KOC + JJeff + Addison + Hock + whatever else they add this draft.

Oh I definitely agree that JJM should be better than Ward or Sanders. I have Stroud and Daniels and need to fill the rest of my team so I felt like the 1.03 gave me way more flexibility and trade partners.
2 weeks ago we went back and forth but couldn't get anything finished and it went dry. Today i offered him this trade that he accepted... which I offered this exact trade 2 weeks ago lol. I even offered him JJM and 2.10 for 1.03 that day.
