Premature rookie draft strategy (1.01, 1.03, 1.10, 2.01, 2.04, 2.10)

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

You’ve got good young WRs around which to build, but you’ve got multiple pieces to add to that roster before it’s competitive. I would be open to trade for or draft multiple QBs and TEs. If BPA is RB at a pick, say right off the rip with the 1.01, I’d put it out there that you’re looking for a young QB. If you like Ward or Sanders, maybe they are a target at 1.03 or you trade. There are a couple good TEs this draft as well, so you might be able to snag or trade picks for one.

If you can’t fit all your picks on your roster or just see an opportunity, I’d stay open to consolidating picks to move up while the draft is going. Have fun with it regardless. You have endless move possibilities.

Staying fluid is spot on. It is way too early to have a game plan in mind. Be open for trades, be open for using the picks and make a move when the value is there.
I am just a guy sharing some thoughts, one of which is stop assuming situation means success

When I have a ton of picks like this, I tend to want to hedge my bets. I use about 50% of them on rookies and trade the others for either vets or future draft capital. But staying flexible is the most important thing.

I'd take Jeanty, and then the next best RB at 1.03. The rest of the picks I'd probably move. You need another QB and this class looks terrible.

I'm a Buckeye homer and was thinking about targeting my favorite NFL QB, CJ Stroud. Where is his value floating around right now?

And I am high on Kincaid (still), in a 2TEP where would his value be sitting?

I think it is way too early to plan much out. I'm waiting until after the NFL drsft, see where players land, then I'm having a rough idea of what I want to do. I am telling everyone that I'm listening to offers for the 1.1 and 1.3 and hoping someone overpays. Most likely I'd keep those, look to package 1.10 and a 2nd rd pick to move up in the 1st.

Stroud is on a vacant orphan team right now, and I feel like most people blow up orphans for picks, so i like my chances lol
