Facebook

Postby Shawn » Mon Oct 26, 2009 9:37 pm

Does anyone on Facebook understand or like any of the changes Facebook has made this past week? It seems awfully confusing and a real mess to go to the site now, and it seems like they always make changes to the site for the worse. Its still better than MYspace though

i liked facebook better when it was simple, and it was only for college kids...thats what made it unique.

the only changes I do like on facebook at the moment is liking things, and the facebook chat.

When was it just for college kids? My employer had an idea to try to use it for social interaction among its employees (sort of a middle ground between myspace, which is for juvenilles - and linkedin, which is for professionals)

They have continually made it more complicated and messy. The only thing I bother with much anymore is a game or two. I don't even do status updates.

My account is all screwy for facebook now. Most of the time it won't let me sign in...it says my account is temporarily unavailable, blah blah blah. This has been going on for a few days. I don't think my account was hacked because I have changed my password and everything....not sure what is up. Not a fan of what they are doing besides the chat feature.

Yea Skip about 5-6 years ago before facebook BLEW UP it was only for college kids. You had to have a college email address in order to register.

I feel you! Facebook changes can be such a headache to figure out at first, and just when you get used to one layout, they throw another at you. Honestly, I think they’re trying too hard to keep up with trends instead of just keeping things simple. But yeah, compared to MySpace, at least it’s still functional... though I kinda miss the MySpace profile songs, not gonna lie!
