I’ve been offered JaMarr Chase, Quentin Johnson, Matthew Stafford and a 2026 #1 for my 2024 1.2 and Jalen Hurts.

I feel this is a pretty small price to pay for Chase. Isn’t this a snap accept!?

If I accept I’m hoping to move Higgins for a RB, which I need desperately

Chase > 1.02 cause that’s what we want MHJ to become..

Hurts easily over QJ/Staff/1st but the 1st offsets the risk a lil (tho it is super late) and at least you get a QB in return. I don’t think Hurts lasts forever…

This is where I lean too. 20 teams make QB more difficult to value than just thinking 1QB league…but I’d still do it.

I'm not sure people here accurately assessed the value in a 20 team league. I would much prefer rolling out Hurts and Nabors every week than Stafford (with age and injury concerns) and Chase. Think this one ages poorly...

I did, but I am admittedly not a huge believer in Hurts long term. Plus even in a 20-team league it doesn’t operate as any more than a 10-team SF. I don’t think it’s a runaway on either side but I think Chase is the best player.

That’s a fair question. Allow me to clarify that I don’t think Hurts is a bad player and I actually like him as a player, I just think he is overvalued. His advanced passing statistics suggest he is a mediocre to middling passer who is propped up by an absurd number of rushing TDs. I recognize that he’s had double-digit TDs every year and they have actually increased year over year, but I have doubts that can be sustained for a career or even the next 2-3 years. Without that very real fantasy advantage, I think his value will start to decrease.

TLDR, I like him but don’t know if I like his outlook in the future and if I could turn him into Chase in the rough equivalent of a 10-team SF league I’m in on that.

So the value is now Hurts over Chase? Nabers hasn’t caught a pass yet. With Daniels it may not be all roses. If this trade happens 14 months ago, what would you say then? Stafford is temporary. I’ve got assets to upgrade. It’s not a SF. There’s no way you can pass on Chase for Hurts and the 1.2, regardless of who that ends up being.
