TOTAL REBUILD TRADE (Poll)

I am in a total rebuild in the team in my signature, and i have been offered Pittman for a 2025 1st. It is likely to land in the 1.03 - 1.06 range. I know that 2025 is projected to be a weak year, but it is also a potential RB year and i am hesitant to move off of it given i will need RBs to eventually contend (my goal is to contend after 2026). I am also high on Pittman this year --- but his age (for my build) is a concern for my potential compete window. ALthough i think i may be able to acquire and flip him for more as well - so i am a little conflicted. What are your thoughts on the trade for the team in sig?

Value is on the Pittman side IMO. Plus you have a ton of draft picks so hedging the bet is nice. I'd probably do it.

I think I'd probably also do it - although you'd be improving your team and it might affect your own 2025 pick next year. I wouldn't worry about RB at this point, you can always either draft Brooks at 2.01 (might be there in a 8 team?), or trade for vets when you're sure you can compete. Pittman would be a solid WR2/3 in your lineup and you have a ton of picks. As long as the one you're trading is going to be mid-1st.

Only 8 teams. Start 10, so pretty shallow. 1/2 PPR.

The worst the pick can be is 1.08. Pittman is probably worth more if it ends up back end, but I’d take the chance the pick becomes earlier. I like Pittman, just don’t think he’s a huge difference maker given the format.

Value wise it is fine/fairly even. That being said, there is no way I’m buying Pittman with that roster. It’s got good bones but 2026 is a good year to aim for competing and Pittman does not help you as much in 2 years as that pick will. I’d be hesitant to buy him because you think you can flip him for more unless you are absolutely sure on that. Otherwise I’d assume the Pittman owner did his due diligence first.
