Receive: Jordan Addison & Ladd McConkey

How did I do? I overpaid in trade #2 but I think Rice receives a longer suspension than most so, and I’m probably higher on Addison than most

I’m not a big fan of either to be honest. Trade 1, I just wouldn’t be taking a QB that early, even with 14 teams, much less trading up for one.

Trade 2 I don’t like at all, but I’m way low on McConkey. Pretty much do not draft for me at his price.

That said, I don’t think either are team killers or anything.

Because this is not TEP, I would have skipped Bowers and taken someone else at 1.05. If Bowers explodes big, the pick will be all right.

Trade 1 was unnecessary in 1qb, but I won't lose any sleep over the idea of trading two 2nds for an earlier pick to get your guy.

Trade 2 was okay. Not a big "value" change. If you felt you got your guys in this trade, I see no harm no foul in it.

When I made the move up to 1.14, I was targeting Benson or McConkey, and they both went right before me..my luck lol

So I went JJM to have a 2nd QB on the roster…that way I’m likely not gonna take a zero during the bye week

I still didn’t exactly feel comfortable making the selection, but drafted for need instead of “value”, but with the players I had at WR, I didn’t want to take a guy who is likely to never start for me

A similar situation occurred with the draft for team 1 in my sig. I didn't need a QB and planned to take a WR or RB, but when I got to the pick there was no one available that projected to start on my roster for the next several years. So I took Caleb. I figure he'll either be the best QB in the history of the NFL (as some fantasy managers apparently believe) and I'll be able to trade him for *something* or keep him and start him ... or Caleb will be JAG and I'll cut him in a couple of years and never miss him. My roster is strong and in this league, with early-ish picks (first 15 or so) I only want rookies with stud potential.

Either way, at that pick I wanted a player with stud potential, and that dictated going QB. Meh.
