In 12-16T 1QB leagues I’m seeing Caleb Williams go after the top 3 WRs always, but in front of the other WRs. Almost always after Bowers. The only player that sometimes goes in front of Williams, and sometimes goes behind him, is Brooks.

Williams went 8th in my 12 team 1QB draft. Daniels 17th, for reference.

I have the 1.01 and am taking Harrison, but I'm trying to trade back in to get Caleb if possible. Right now I'm targeting the 1.05 as the guy is open to the trade. Most teams have 2-3 starting QBs, I only have Allen right now. Thanks!

(And yes, I am looking at this rookie draft thread viewtopic.php?t=29230)
In a 12tm 1qb keeper league with a rookie+freeagents draft, I got Caleb as the 9th rookie drafted. JDanies was the 15th rookie pick. JJM was the 16th rookie drafted.
Thanks. I'm trying to make some moves to get earlier in the second, whether it's the 2.02 or the 2.07. Hoping at least one of the top four QBs falls to me, but since I'm in Chicago, I'd love to have at least one share of CW as well.

The long term value is easily with Pearsall.

Maye is a sneaky one if this is the same team where you're trying to trade back up for Caleb. Maye is low key a decent rusher and has arguably as much arm-talent upside as CW. Far far worse Year 1 situation, though.

Thanks. Yes, same league. Debating on moving Zamir. Offered the 2.02. I am looking at Maye there IF he falls, but there is no guarantee he makes it to me. I'm deep at WR (Lamb, DJM, Puka, Olave, 1.01/Harrison). I have no shares of Pearsall but would love one, but QB is who I'm looking at here. My RB room is not deep—Kamara, Jacobs, Zamir, Warren, JFord, GEdwards.

I think you're veering into team advice territory now bud.

The idea isn't to spam these general Discussion boards with trade offers.

(Or with empty posts in general ie. "following")

LOL I was trying to get a price check on CW, but fair enough.

Coming back around on rookie QBs—I'm seeing JJM and Maye going in the same range in 1 QB. Who do you like? Obviously most everyone has CW at the top, with Daniels 2nd. Just curious. I'm looking at ADP and was surprised to see JJM going before Maye.

Maye for me.

JJM is simply too much of a mystery box for my tastes... I get a "No kids, we have Daniel Jones at home..." kind of feeling with that one. If he hits, I'm willing to accept the L. But I can't evaluate what isn't there, and to select him over Maye with what he's put on tape comparitively is a major leap of faith.

Say what you want, but the Vikings themselves valued Maye more than JJM to the tune of multiple 1sts according to Jeremy Fowler.

If Brian Daboll and Kevin O'Connell both see him as a majorly desirable QB talent, then who am I to disagree.

Unless you play in redraft, I don't understand why someone would take a replaceable RB over a 1st Round WR.

It won't shock me if McCarthy puts up better numbers. Maye is in an unproven situation with bottom-tier playmakers.

Minnesota is returning key starters on the offensive line, two very good route runners, a very good TE, and one of the better OC's in the NFL. They have a lot of continuity and McCarthy is not going to be asked to be a hero. He's just going to make the right read and distribute to the open man. It feels very San Francisco-esque on offense.

In the same way that Brock Purdy put up better numbers than Justin Herbert last year: I would still take Herbert in a startup right now.

I view JJM vs. Maye the same way.
