Another QB at 1.06?

Going into the draft, I had 1.04 and 1.06. I hoped that Nabors would have fallen to me at 1.04 or Odunze at 1.06... both got snatched up the pick before. I picked Jayden Daniels at 1.04 (not mad about that), but now I'm sitting at 1.06, wondering if I should pick for need or value.

As a gambler, I'm leaning towards betting on Maye's upside, even if this gives me 5 QBs, and giving me more ammo to trade for need.

The practical side of me says to take Bowers here to fill a long-term TE need.

I'm also trying to trade back, but if I'm not able to do so, what would you do?

Draft for Value. While only .5 PPR it could either be Maye or Bowers at 1.06

My first option would be to try and slide back a couple spots and let someone make your decision a little easier.

If that isn’t possible, in SF, the value is probably in Maye..However when someone knows you have 5 QBs, it makes them a little more hesitant to offer top value for one because they think they’ll get them at less than top dollar.

With your TE room, I probably make the move to select Bowers if I’m unable to trade back

I still think Bowers is his play so we agree there. Just commenting because holding 5 starters leaves just over 2 QBs for each other team. They will be mostly razor thin and the offers will come. #MakeTheDealWithTheDevil
