Give my 1.09 for 2.06/2.07/3.07?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Give my 1.09 for 2.06/2.07/3.07?

Postby ff330 » Sat May 11, 2024 10:17 pm

Team #3 in sig

Team could use a shot of youth with some aging talent like Jones, Kamara, Adams (?), Lockett, and Hopkins. Thinking about offering my 1.09 to a team who traded his 1st round pick for his 2.06/2.07 and 3.07.

Feel like it's not enough to get an extra mid-3rd and 4th for moving back 9 spaces and losing out on maybe McConkey, Coleman, Benson, or maybe Brooks based on the 8 to 10 slots in three drafts I just finished this week. He also has the 3.06 that I might be able to get him to give up.

Too much, not enough based on 3rd round success hits, or just stay put? Thx.

Depending on the format. I’m going to assume 1QB PPR and 12tm. I would agree there will be a bigger gap between 1.09 and 2.06/07. You could definitely use more youth but unless they pop, you are still right where you started. Your call but I would just take BPA at 1.09 and look for another way.

Rather stay put than move out of the 1st, personally.

Agree 2x 2nds and a 3rd would be fair, but I'd have no interest in doing it... Infusing youth isn't about collecting as many young players as possible, all about adding high-end, talented players that can move into the starting line-up as those older guys age out.

If we're talking a top-3 pick, that's one thing. I don't consider 1.09 in a 1QB high-end talent. At that point, I'd rather have the two chances at hitting in the mid second round (and a 3rd-round pick on top).

I can see it both ways. 3.07 is a guy like Downs for me last year, so he's not really moving the trade needle.

If you team needs less depth, give me the 1.09. If your team has more holes to fill AND you can draft reasonably well, maybe take the two seconds.
