This is a late, depth addition to me. Harrison is a SE, and Wilson is more of a flanker. I don't think Zay is a better flanker at all, so I think he's behind Marv. He can play some slot, though. They lost Rondale, so I think he's more a guy that's there for 3 WR sets. Dortch is still there, though I think.

Zay is 29, and was inefficient last year. Seems like a depth move.

Lions signed Jared Goff to a four-year, $212 million contract extension.

Goff was heading into the final year of a four-year extension he originally signed with the Rams in 2019. He was traded to the Lions in 2021, as the team was more than willing to take on his “bad” contract in what was the first year of a rebuild under head coach Dan Campbell. The Lions couldn’t have expected what has followed since acquiring Goff that offseason, as the former No. 1 overall pick has thrown for 12,258-78-27 in his three years with the team, leading them to two winning seasons, and a 12-5 record last season in which they reached the NFC Championship game. Goff’s success with the Lions has, at times, felt synonymous with the grit Campbell constantly mentions when referencing his team. A player who was once thought to be trending toward a role as a career backup has found new life in Detroit and, as a result, has been handsomely rewarded with another massive payday. Goff, who is now the second-highest-paid quarterback in the league on a per-year basis, will receive $170 million in guaranteed money on his new deal and is now under contract through 2027 with an option to remain with the team in 2028.

Me too, in a league in which I own Goff. I'll be dropping him in the fall unless Goff tears a knee or Achilles in camp.

Feels about right if you want that insurance. And it's nice as a stash if it's a league that allows Taxi-to-Taxi trades.

But wow man, his value is smashed now.
