I disagree with this. I wouldn’t give that for him in either format. I’d struggle to give more than a 3rd in SF and likely wouldn’t give anything in 1 QB.

Your previous post you said it was Nix and not close. 1.12 is right in line with Nix’s ADP.

Hey mane, I never said I'd give that for Fields, that's what his dyno value is according to the charts I use.

I don't trade for (or even roster) backup QBs so if he's not free, I'm good.

FWIW, the charts say Nix is just between 1.12 and 2.01 in SF and worth a 3rd in 1QB, so I think we're on the same page.

Dude is just throwing darts. He had no QB so I guess he thought a good option was to trade for Fields and hope he can take over for Russ. I’m in somewhat of a rebuild so I loved getting 2 starters and a 1st for Fields and a 2nd basically

Can I commander this to ask what Fields’ dynasty value is? Mid 2nd too much? I kind of prefer a late 2nd but curious what others think.

In this class, I think he's worth a 3rd. He's a backup QB that just got traded for a FUTURE 6th. The NFL doesn't value him. This class is deep in SF leagues.

I saw him traded for 2.01 + '25 3rd (12tm superflex) by a rebuilding team in March (I believe it was the day he was traded to PIT), which I found odd. This was a team that tanked last year and was collecting picks. Maybe he didn't expect there to be so many RD1 QBs available this year, but still. He came out of the draft with JJM and Penix @ QB. Could have added Brooks or a RD1 WR with that 2.01

I agree with you that the consensus value of Nix (or any rookie QB drafted in the 1st round) is higher than my personal valuation of Nix.

But, my personal opinion of Nix is I don't think he's close to being good enough to keep his job as a starter. If I'm right (and at the moment I think I'm right) then Nix is not worth drafting/trading for at the price he commands currently.

Nix was just drafted with the 12th overall pick. Fields was traded for a 6th. Fields may have another short-run in him, but he's also unlikely to lock down a starting gig.

im legit baffled how this has so many people saying fields side lol. yes he may have 1 more nice rushing season at some point WOO! the issue is he stinks as a passer and the whole NFL agrees.
