D Smith+ for London?

QB: Stroud, Minshew
RB: Bijan, ETN, R White, Z White, Spears
WR: Lamb, Puka, Olave, D Smith, trash
TE: Laporta, Ferguson

Picks: 1.01, 1.02, 1.04

I'll be adding MHJ and Nabers. 1.04 TBD. The London owner has the 1.03, 1.11 and is desperate for RBs. Adding London for Smith is kind of a lateral move IMO, but London's upside may be higher, especially with Cousins. AJB is an Eagle for the next 3 seasons, so Smith is stuck as a WR2. I still think he's solid, but just don't see him becoming a superstar there right now. London is a few years younger and has little competition for targets. Would you try and get London? It's not a need for my team, but looking to bet on London's potential. Would Smith + Spears be enough to get London? Any other ideas? Thanks

Real life yes, for fantasy, not sure about that. If Cousins is healthy, I'll take London. But I respect the stance of what we have seen vs what we expect/hope.

100% agree. It's really difficult to extrapolate meaningful data from London's first two seasons given his QB play and OC. Both teams have new OC's, so it's hard to know what these offenses are going to look like. London has Pitts and Mooney to compete with for targets. Smith has AJB and Goedert, with AJB obviously being a big hurdle. I just don't know if we're going to see Smith climb into the WR1 group in the next three years. I am not questioning Smith's talent, just opportunity. London has a very clear path to become a WR1. He's not JJ, but I still think he's very, very good. But it is a risk. I know what I have in Smith and that's fine. He'll get me 10-15 fantasy points most weeks.

Not in a 1QB. You already have Stroud at QB and plenty of quality RBs.

Honest question, why do you want to move Smith and Spears so much? I didn’t like giving them up for London, but I figured it was a “get your guy” thing. Now it seems like you just really want to pivot off of Smith and Spears so I’m curious if you know something about them I don’t.
