Targeting Nabers OTC trade

Rookie draft just started for Team 2 - [12tm PPR SF 0.5-TEP]

Guy with 1.01/1.02/1.04 selected CW, MHJ, and then put 1.04 on the block
He tanked last year. Has a solid core (Kyler, CW, MHJ, GW, Flowers) but has a lot of holes to fill, and his next pick isn't until RD3

I'm interested in getting one more stud WR. I figure Nico is worth roughly 1.08/1.09 and Javonte is late 1st/early 2nd value

A) Given the context, is this a reasonable offer to get Nabers?

Give: Nico + Javonte
Get: 1.04

Short of that, maybe Nico + '25 1st? (which I know from previous talks that he's interested in)

B) Are my resources better spent elsewhere considering my QB3 is Russell Wilson?

I don't think it's a bad offer but I also don't think it has a high likelihood of success. Issue IMO is that Javonte is a high end RB3 for '24 which just isn't all that compelling (especially on May 1st). Nico/2025 1st seems more enticing.

As to question B, I think focusing on WR is fine. You have two of the top-3 QBs, I'm not too worried about the QB3. If I was doing anything at QB it would be trading for someone like Carr or A.Rod during the season.

Yeah I expected others to think the valuation of JW was high. Probably more of a mid 2nd in the market right now.

Nico I think is right on the line. If the draft falls as we expect it to 1.01-1.08, I'd gladly send 1.09 for Nico in most leagues (FWIW, that's where KTC has his value as well)

I will reserve my opinion on what I think of KTC.....

To me Nico is going to take a bit more of a hit with Diggs and lesser targets than I believe is being reflected. I admit I may have moved the needle more than others however.

I just use it as ballpark value to make sure I'm not way off

Thanks all, but I got sniped, which I fully anticipated because the guy picking at 1.03 is rebuilding and has very few assets so he traded back and Nabers went 1.03

I never sent the trade for that reason but I’m almost 100% confident he would have taken Nico + ‘25 1st

He traded GW (+3.04) for 1.10 + ‘25 1st today
