1.03 trade

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

1.03 trade

Postby NathanielWegman » Tue Apr 30, 2024 6:21 pm

24 Team League

Trade: 1.03, Malik Cunningham, Dontayvion Wicks, Azeez Al-Shaair
Get: Javonte Williams, Tee Higgins, Jaleel McLaughlin, Jake Browning

Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex, 2 CB, 2 S, 2 Edge, 1 IL, 2 LB and 2 flex

QB- Burrow
RB - Karen, Singletary
WR- Ridley, Woods, JuJu, Bourne
TE- nobody worth naming

Picks: 1.03, 1.09, 2.03, 3rd in each round plus an extra 5th which is 5.2

I don’t feel like I’m getting enough value for 1.03, I don’t plan to keep any of the players I’d be trading, except Al Shaair & maybe Wicks..I can keep an additional 8 players, so I’d probably keep all 4 players I’d be receiving…

Teams picking at 1.01 and 1.02 are both probably going WR leaving me with Odunze most likely, whom I’m not a fan of but he carries significant value…

Is Higgins & Javonte enough to move off Odunze?

I thought about countering offering the 1.09 instead but don’t think he would accept

Also thought about replacing Javonte and Jaleel with Etienne.

Is either counter worth proposing?

I think the 1.03 has more value than Higgins/Williams. The rest of the stuff is pretty marginal even in this format. I am admittedly not as high as consensus on Higgins.

If you can get Etienne, Higgins, and your QB handcuff in a 24 team league, I'd smash accept. But it's so hard to field a starting lineup in that size league, splitting "studs" is something I'm far more likely to do than in a 10-14 team league.
