This question is in regards to Team 2 below. I won the championship with this team two years ago and made the finals, and lost, last year. Last year though was a pretty big struggle and I basically made the final on the back of Lamb and CMC's monster seasons as the rest of my team was either injured or lacked depth. I hold the 1.3, 1.5, 1.8, 1.11, 2.11, 3.1, 3.11, 4.11 in the upcoming draft as I had traded away a number of aging pieces in anticipation of a mini rebuild.
I'd like to jump up to the 1.1 to grab MHJ as I think he's in the best situation of the big 3 rookie WRs in terms of landing spot, QB, and target competition. I made an offer of 1.3 + 1.11 for the 1.1, but was turned down and the holder (who has it through a trade) indicated he wants an elite RB to move off of MHJ.
Would you do that given my team makeup and, if so, who would you move? My thought was Taylor because, while he's younger than CMC, he's not at CMCs level production wise and Taylor will have Richardson around likely poaching goal line TDs, but given the talent in this years RB class, I'm a bit hesitant to move a top 10 RB.

Could you try the 1.03 and 1.05 for 1.01? I know he said he wants an elite back but Id try that first. Id be okay moving CMC but that will end your title chances.

I'd move Taylor for 1.01 pretty easily. If you are competitive in-season, you'll have plenty of young players (and future draft capital) to get another RB. If you're not, then CMC is ripe to be traded during the year.
And, as is almost always the case, I prioritze value over roster construction in April. The value is with 1.01 in my book.

The owner of the 1.01 declined it and countered demanding Taylor, the 1.03, and 2.11. Needless to say, I don't think this is getting done if he thinks that is the value of the 1.01.
