Bowers with No Primo

Curious about coming back to this now that we're after the draft. Anyone got more solid/changed opinions?

Not much changed for me. The margins were thin though, IMO.

He was never getting a landing spot that would make me consider him over Nabers @ WR2. I also don't think he was ever going to get a landing spot in the top-15 that made me drop him behind a bunch of guys with red (yellow?) flags in Worty/BTJ/Brooks. I'll take the guy with elite traits and an incredible production profile, even if the landing spot isn't as sexy as we'd hoped

I think the majority of the time (with a few exceptions), you'll have to draft him between Nabers and Worthy, with Odunze being the decision point (in 1QB).

Same thing in SuperFlex but maybe you're choosing between Maye/McCarthy/Bowers/Odunze, so between 1.05 and 1.08 as Wicker mentioned

Luckily in my case the decision was made for me and it was a relatively young competing team where I don't have a glaring need. So even if it takes Bowers (who is arguably the greatest TE prospect ever) some time to get rolling, it was an easy decision for me given the ceiling

Only shot I have at him is in a TEP league (2 total PPR) at 1.06 and I think I have to take him there over guys like JJM or Odunze. Though it's a very tough call. Don't like the landing spot, but have to hope he's as good as they say. In SF I expect our league to go—

1.02 Harrison (me)
1.03 Daniels
1.04 Maye
1.05 Nabers
1.06—Bowers, JJM, or Odunze

With TEP and my TEs not being very good, I think I have to take Bowers here.

I’m really torn here having the 4, 6 and 7 picks. The 5 will take BTJ (he has TLaw and really needs WRs) or Bowers (really needs TE as well) depending on whichever one I don’t take. I m hoping to land 3 of Bowers, BTJ, Brooks and McConkey. I am pretty well off at TE but would love to add Bowers. BTJ has all the opportunity in the world and massive upside but he also feels pretty risky. I should get Brooks and McConkey with the following picks so it’s really just a decision between Bowers and BTJ and my choice changes every day .

I’m seriously considering taking Brooks at 1.04 to force the 1.05 to make the decision for me. Trading back is not really worth it in this league. Nobody offers anything of value to move up really.
