I am OTC in rookie slow draft (8 hour timer with overnight pause). Some context below.

My team:
QB: TLaw, Herbert, Levis, Aiden O’Connell, Stidham
RB: Gibbs, Rhamondre Stevenson, Javonte, JK Dobbins, Keaton Mitchell
WR: Marvin Harrison Jr (1.02), Garrett Wilson, Tee Higgins, Aiyuk, Nico Collins, Demario Douglas
TE: TJ Hockenson, Njoku

Future picks: 1.08, 2.02, 25 1st (mine), 25 2nd (mine), 25 2nd

Draft so far has gone

1. Caleb Williams
2. MHJR (me)
3. Malik Nabers
4. Jayden Daniels
5. Rome Odunze
6. Drake Maye
7. Brock Bowers

I am OTC at 1.08. What I really need to throw this team over the top is RB, but that’s obviously not the right pick here. In this format and with the way my league values QB, JJ McCarthy is presumably the pick if I take it here. But there’s another option on the table. A team that went all in for a playoff push last year has no picks in this draft and would really like in. I am considering offering the below.

Give: 1.08, 2.02, 25 1st (mine)

Receive: Breece Hall, 25 2nd (likely late), Mac Jones

Seems like it fills a critical hole on my roster, and I think throws me over the top to be a very strong competitor for the next couple years. I would still have three 2nds in 2025 to work with as well. What does everyone think?


Edit: was throwing this deal together late at night, is asking for the 2nd back a little too greedy? Feels like it. How does everyone feel if that part gets taken out?

In this format that isn’t being greedy. I do like the hall side but what is the interest in Mac Jones? Can you swap him out for a different small piece? If I was going to take someone as a backup, I would do a RB backup.

I e got Trevor so Mac is the handcuff. With all the QB injuries last year I figured I’d atleast get him as a throw in.

If the team with Breece is in a complete rebuild this might be compelling. I'd be open to shipping one of your WRs plus pick(s) to get Breece if that's what the guys wants..
