I don’t think the plan is going to be for Corum to have minimal run. If that was the plan I don’t think they would have taken the 3rd rb off the board in the 3rd round, they would have taken someone in 5th(+), like where they drafted Kyren. By end of the year I’d expect the splits to look more 50/50 than 70/30, and I don’t see Kyren producing RB1 numbers 50/50. Both can be solid RB2s thoughFantasyFreak wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 8:06 pmMaybe. It's possible. He's was doing what he did last year on the best team in the country as a 23 year old in college. Kyren was a 23 year old in the NFL being one of the best backs in the league, and making his offense significantly better, which his coach and teammates all acknowledged. Corum is still a rookie, who will have to learn the offense, where to go, pass pro, assignment etc etc etc.Bronco Billy wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 8:02 pm I’m honestly shocked to see people here underestimating Corum so badly. I don't think it was likely that Kyren was a 30 touch back every game no matter what happened. I still think he's capable of RB1 numbers, if he's healthy.

Just got off a plane and noticing that Troy Franklin hasn’t been drafted. Wasn’t he supposed to be in the mix of round 1 receivers?

The good news is a year from now, one of us can say I told ya so. May the odds ever be in your favor, or however the saying goes. I think people are taking what Kyren did last year, and how much the staff value him rather lightly, to think a guy who's basically the same age as him that was playing in college last year while he was doing what he did in the pros, is going to come in and put him on the bench for half the touches.Jrblaha wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 8:21 pmThe good news is a year from now, one of us can say I told ya so. I could be wrong, though. I'm a Wolverines fan, love the kid. I'm bummed about this though. I wanted him to go somewhere like the Chargers, without an established, proven starter. That would have been too perfect.

Re: Predictions for the Draft
I see Corum more in the Roschon Johnson role. Obviously he is going to need to capitalize his limited early touches he has in order to come close to a true RBBC. Only time will tell.Jrblaha wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 8:21 pmThe good news is a year from now, one of us can say I told ya so. May the odds ever be in your favor, or however the saying goes. Here's hoping, I have him in quite a few of my deeper leaguesFantasyFreak wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 8:02 pm BTW, Wheels up for Zamir White. No RB until day 3, IF at all. One they signed Mattison, this was always likely, but Zamir owners have to be happy.

Yeah, I was thinking for sure the Bucs were going to take him at 92 but they chose McMillan instead. There must be a few warning signs about Franklin that the NFL noticed.

Re: Predictions for the Draft
But we’ve seen this before with James Robinson. Idk why coaches hate RBs that produce but have low draft capital. And I get your logic, but why make this pick then, when they did it? I agree Chargers would have been better, but I like the Rams spot. I’m also biased tho, and also a UofM fanFantasyFreak wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 8:23 pmI think people are taking what Kyren did last year, and how much the staff value him rather lightly, to think a guy who's basically the same age as him that was playing in college last year while he was doing what he did in the pros, is going to come in and put him on the bench for half the touches.
