What to do at pick 1 and 3.

I have a team with Jordan love and Kyler at qb. Justin Jefferson, garret Wilson, tank Dell.
I really wanted to take MHJ at 1 with likely grabbing Jayden daniels at 3, but with how much the bears stacked the team around Caleb, it feels really hard to not take him.
Curious how people feel about this.
Do you take MHJ and Jayden or do you take Caleb who has the clear value and consider pick 3 being tricky from a team makeup standpoint.

I’m still taking MHJ to stack with your Kyler and then Daniels. But taking caleb, trading away the rights to MHJ at 2, and staying in the range to grab Odunze is the best play if possible

Personally taking MHJ and JDaniels, whose rushing upside should have him be fantasy-relevant until he gets hurt and the coaching staff reels him in.

I would see if the guy at 2 wants to trade up to 1 and make the decision for you. A lot of people are paying up for the 1 or the 2 because they like having the choice.

If you don't want Caleb, you HAVE to trade to 2, and get SOMETHING on top, or you are pissing away value. Doesn't matter how good a prospect MHJ is, in a SF, with a prospect as good as Caleb, he's the chalk 1.01, and any other pick at 1.01 isn't getting the best value there.

I think this is right. The something doesn't have to be all that big.

FWIW - On a contender I'd rather have the MHJR/Daniels/something side pretty easily. I get that we are playing dynasty but winning is the goal. I'd expect the Daniels/MHJR combo to comfortably outscore Caleb/Nabers in '24. That does matter.

im looking to trade back with the guy that has 1.2 if i can be reasonably sure he would take caleb. pick up some extra and get your guy anyway. i would wanna come away with mhjr and daniels in an ideal world. i think mhjr is the prize of this draft and no matter what you gotta come away with him. anything after that you live with.
